Started drawing when she was in kindergarten, and when she was in elementary and junior high school she aimed to become a manga artist. After graduating from high school, she got a job, but she was frustrated by her OL life in two years. She retired and she drew a manga and first posted it in the magazine. After working as a part-time assistant for two and a half years, she won the 5th BF Manga Audition Honorable Mention in 1987 for her "Kare no Pocket ni Tenshi".
