Mangascreener has their 10th anniversary today. Not many scanlation groups can make that claim, so good for them to stick around for so long!

though 10 years and only 500 release according to mangaupdate
still, you guys are one of the few groups that got me into manga in the first place

thread

» barbapapa on July 26th, 2011, 3:28am

quality over quantity!

thread

» mattai on July 26th, 2011, 5:17am

That's 50 a year, or roughly one release a week. Pretty solid to keep that up over 10 years IMHO

thread

» hahhah42 on July 26th, 2011, 1:17am

Thanks for all the quality manga series!

thread

» VampireBanana on July 26th, 2011, 8:50am

Ahhhh... I remember! smile

The good ol' days of manga!! When everything was often on irc and there was a massive mangascreener channel.

Oh makes me remember: mangaproject, shoujomagic, toriyama's world, when storm in heaven was still a young hatchling, selene scans, inane, etc.

thread

» VampireBanana on July 26th, 2011, 8:51am

Ah right there was also snoopycool, too.

thread

» silent killer on July 26th, 2011, 1:01pm

congrats. you guys have outlasted hundreds of scanlation groups and half a dozen publishers.

thread

» T1 on July 27th, 2011, 1:59pm

Oh seems so...I thought they were dead...so when are they going to pick up the great titles they did in the ol' days? Those were times...and yes I miss Snoopy too T.T

thread

» barbapapa on July 27th, 2011, 3:19pm

Sorry, Naruto got licensed.

I don't approve of the new hipster web 2.0 logo.

Oh wai.. it's in lossy jpg? I take it back, everything is good.

thread

» barbapapa on July 28th, 2011, 2:10pm

Damn, I did try to go for our most unread (and best) manga in the banner though.

thread

» deadphoenix on July 28th, 2011, 4:34pm

Happy birthday!

Anyway, does "MangaTranslation" also count as an active group, otherwise they are also holding out a long time ( first release dates from Friday, December 14th 2001), "Manga Downloads" is another one.

Is it just me, or weren't the numbers of manga scanned rather low 10 years ago?

thread

» CatzCradle on July 29th, 2011, 1:33am

That's a big accomplishment! Congratulations!~ ;D

thread

» iruchan on July 29th, 2011, 8:21am

Congrats everyone, especially the group leader wink !

thread

» ssjtomato on July 30th, 2011, 8:41pm

Lol, just the other day i was talking to a friend about how their couple of releases have "unknown" for their release dates

thread

» Toto on July 30th, 2011, 11:08pm

The dates are "unknown", because the releases were done before this site was created...Also, the person that added the releases did not know the date of original release.

thread

» lambchopsil on July 31st, 2011, 8:08am

If you know what the dates are, tell us

thread

» geekdiva on July 31st, 2011, 3:45am

Yay! Thanks for all the hard work!
