New Poll - Visiting Japan
This week's poll is from our member smarts. It's pretty simple (except for the fact that your exact reason of why/why not may not be there), so no explanation required~

You can discuss this poll on our forums here (and feel free to tell us your experience if you've gone!):

You can submit poll ideas here (and try to keep them manga/anime-related):

Previous Poll Results:
Question: How do you prefer your manga plots?
Episodic - votes: 905 (7.5%)
Continuous - votes: 7057 (58.3%)
Doesn't matter - votes: 4140 (34.2%)
There were 12102 total votes.
The poll ended: September 24th 2011

Of the ones who care, continuous wins by a large margin. And I agree with them! My feeling is that it is better to have an overarching story that is heading in a certain direction in order to drive the series forward.

Voted and don't have enough money xD

» yuri999 on September 24th, 2011, 2:28pm

You fool! How is that any different from "No, and I prefer to stay where I am " ??

Ahahahaha! How will you counter that hmmmm? xD

» DExil on September 24th, 2011, 3:28pm

Hah I don't prefer where I'am. Countered!

» mattai on September 24th, 2011, 6:00pm

Then why are you still there?

» Milleniummaster18 on September 26th, 2011, 11:33am

Sometimes there's no easy or immediate way to get out.

» naikan on September 24th, 2011, 6:10pm

I want to go, have the money, but don't have the time off work. :'(

» jHoward on September 24th, 2011, 7:23pm

Im planning to, but not anytime soon, though.

» maine12329 on September 26th, 2011, 7:37pm

Sigh... I only transferred at Japan for about half an hour and didn't get to soak in its awesomeness.... :/ but it sort of counts as a visit

» Reppu on September 24th, 2011, 7:25pm

Where's the "I've lived there and am ambivalent about it" category? Two years there and I'm still not sure if I'm in love with it or if I was absolutely wrecked by it.The bars though were amazing. Nothing like getting slushed over there!

» onizukaa on September 25th, 2011, 12:34am

Ever go to Yokosuka, Kanagawa?

» onizukaa on September 25th, 2011, 12:34am

Wheres the "I live there but it doesn't live up to the hype, and I wanna go home" Option biggrinD

Ps. My job is forcing me to live here. Free lodging ftw.

» sarablack10 on September 25th, 2011, 11:16am

What about "Lived there, I loved it." or "lived there and hated it." I didn't just 'visit,' I lived there. No option here.

» quark1020 on September 25th, 2011, 4:46pm

You know, that's an interesting argument. Does living temporarily there any different than visiting? I guess it depends on the length and how it felt leaving.

» sarablack10 on September 27th, 2011, 10:21pm

Several years is certainly not "visiting"

» KioJonny on September 29th, 2011, 10:21am

Same issue here. 8 and a half years is pretty much no longer visiting.
