Plot/Story Teito Klein is an orphan and ex-slave, training at the Empire's military academy. Other students don't talk to him because this, and his only friend is Mikage, a boy that is exactly his opposite. At the day of his exam to become a 'begleiter', he start to remember some memories from his past... Attacking the staff and tunning away from the academy with all the 'begleiters' at his foot, he ends at the church of the Empire, where he discovers a legend about seven ghosts who sealed the wicked shinigamis called Verloren. And it seems that those are after him too...
Characters The cast is amazing~ It never ceases to amaze me how those manga artists create such great characters. Though not that original, they're really cute.
Teito Klein - The main character. He looks serious and reserved at the Academy, but he changes completely outside it. His past is a secret even for him.
Mikage - Teito's best and only friend, he's funnyand talkative. He entered at the Academy to protect his family, but then Teito became part of it.
Ayanami - One of the most respectable begleiters. He's in charge of the capture of Teito Klein and also seems to have something to do with his past.
Frau - One of the bishops at the church. He's a total pervert, and always makes fun of Teito. But he has some mysterious powers...
Castor - Another bishop. He's more serious and reasonable than Frau, and always argue with him. He's also a dollmaker (more like robots than dolls).
Labrador - A sweet and charismatic bishop that hangs with the other two. He seems to sense when bad things are around.
Drawing Style The art is not perfect and in some angles the characters look strange, but nonetheless it's really cute and the scenarios are AMAZING and super detailed.
Enjoyment Two thumbs up. There's more to say?
Overall 07-Ghost is a kind of manga I've never seen before. From the lots of action, powers, and story, it seems like a shounen manga, but it's centered more around the characters and their feelings, just as a shoujo. It even has a bit of *gasp* boy's love. So it's not for everyone, though who loves a bit of everything will like.

| This series is definitely worth a read! There are two things that make it so attractive; first and most importantly being the relationships with the characters, and the presence of shounen-ai. In the manga the simple companionship and friendship between the characters is sweet and truly heart-warming, while the actual "shounen-ai" is only lightly suggested; enough so, that both fujoshi and those who dislike yaoi can enoy it. Secondly, the mystery and unanswered questions within the plot continues to draw the story forward ... and us along with it. All in all, an excellent manga that incorporates many different genres; whether it be shounen, shojo or a touch of fantasy to cater for lots of different people. In truth; it's a uniquely diverse manga. |

| This manga rocks! Hopefully it becomes an anime! I love the dash of shounen-ai, i personally think it gives it a unique spark as this manga stands between the shounen and shojo genre. In all its a pretty good read for fans of all these genres. ^-^ |
