Plot/Story
A group of Pokemon trainers set of there journey to become Pokemon masters! In Pokemon Adventure, you follow these adventurers through Kanto, though Johto, and even Hoenn, while they meet Team Rocket, and must twart there cunning plans to take over the world, and enslave all Pokemon!

Characters
The characters are really simple names, with not so simple attitudes.
Red - The 'main' character of the Red, Blue, and Green 'Series'. A lively gogetter, he can overcome may obstacles, and is one of the strongest Pokemon battlers there is. Blue's rival.
Blue - A more of a quiet guy, he is more of a researcher, for his grandfather, Professor Oak, then a fighter. Always calm and cool, he is probably the mentally strongest in the series. Red's rival.
Green - Not much of a fighter and not much of a researcher, she is more like a thief, with a liking for cute Pokemon. Her pokemon are better at hiding and being cute, then most trainers Pokemon.
Yellow - A mysterious person who had a special link with Pika, Red's Pikachu. With the power to read minds of Pokemon, and heal Pokemon, Yellow sets of to find the lost Red, who fought against an Elite Four, and mysteriously disappeared. Yellow is actually a girl.
Gold - The 'pervy' main character of the Gold, Silver, and Crystal 'Series, Gold is very good at hatching Pokemon from there eggs.
Silver - A Pokemon trainer and possibly the son of Team Rocket's leader: Giovanni. Has an unknown past with Green. He also has a ways with trading Pokemon with other trainers. Gold's rival.
Crystal - A legendary girl, with the nutch for catching Pokemon. She has captured every non-legendary Pokemon for Professor Oak.
Ruby - The main character of the Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald 'Series', he enjoys Pokemon Contests but hates battling. Sapphire thinks he's prissy.
Sapphire - A hyper-active girl, usually wearing clothes made of leaves, she loves Pokemon battling, but hates Pokemon Contests. She is also very good at Gym battles.
Wally - One of the only known 'main' characters not being named after a game. Not much is known about him, but it seems he favors Pokemon with the color green.
Emerald - The newest, and most mysterious character. He does not own any Pokemon, but is in the Battle Frontier to protect Jirachi, from a evil man. He battles using Crystal's Pokemon, and he is very good at it. Although short, he wears platform shoes, and has SUPER ULTRA long sleeves, and in the sleeves he carries around gadgets to help him get out of tight spots. He is mysteriously acquainted with the two legendary Pokemon Latios and Latias.

Drawing Style
The drawings are beautiful, a kind of SD form of Pokemon, Mato probably out did himself drawing this manga!

Enjoyment
Although the manga is flipped, so regualar americans could read it better, the actual plot that Team Rocket have, and the plans to twart them made by the trainers, actually are good plots and plans! While in the T.V. show, all Satoshi does is make Pikachu use Thunderbolt, and they're finished. A very fun manga, reccomended for all ages.

Overall
Just because it's Pokemon, doesn't mean it isn't good! Scarce in stores, Pokemon Adventure is avalible here in Baka-Updates Manga, and Animewarp.be! I suggest you all to read this manga, it will be worth your while!

I absolutely love this manga. It's so light-hearted but it's balanced by the deadly adventures that the pokedex holders go through. Pokemon Adventure isn't simply some kids going on a journey to catch some monsters and training. The characters often are stuck in a struggle between good and evil. The dark pasts, the action, the heart-breaking moments, the adventure, the hints at light romance. Pokemon Adventure has it all.

I luved this manga ever since I was a kid! It was VERY popular back in the days.

Unlike the anime where it's the exact same plot every episode and it's getting seriously overrated, this manga is well ploted. The gym leaders have important roles and the battles are interesting. The story is very close to the gameboy games. Red definately has better pokemon than Satoshi (he knows when he sees a rare pokemon, HE CAPTURES IT) and better hair for once. The elite four has better things to do in this manga than the anime and so do team rocket. This isn't some kiddish pokemon, it's GOOD pokemon. I seriously recommend this, this is one of the best pokemon manga out there cept for Pocket Monsters where it wins by a mile. (dude, Pipi's awesome!) At first, it may seem stupid but it gets way better as the story moves on. Also, Red owns this super cool Eevee where it can evolve into all 3 forms (fire, water, electric) and it can evolve back into its normal self. (read the manga to find out why it does that) Oh, one of the best parts about this is that Mewtwo and Mew have BIG roles unlike the anime where it appeared once and gone.
