Short, Custom Summary
Funabashi-kun is in no ways a violent person, yet he is known as the infamous delinquent, "Devil Ma-kun". Realizing that he is not fit to be a delinquent anymore, he tries to reform his violent image by joining the Tea Ceremony club. Little does he know, very few people are ok with this.

Plot/Story
The plot was very cute and entertaining. Most of the conflicts and hilarious moments arose from the various misunderstandings of Funabashi-kun. There were two people in the entire series that accepted Funabashi-kun's desire to change, leading to some interesting scenarios.

Characters
This manga is centered around the characters. Each character has their own personality and set of morals that lead them to judge Funabashi-kun for better or for worse. Funabashi-kun himself was a very fun character as he was completely oblivious to everything. You could compare him to Nendou from Saiki Kusuo no Ψ Nan.

The main "love interest" was ironically cliche. I feel like her presence was there to make fun of the Mary Sue trope because she was very much a Mary Sue. Every moral of hers was Mary Sue-like and her only flaw was that she was a total Mary Sue. Ironically, being an ironic cliche made her unironically interesting (I'm sorry I just made you read that).

Overall, characters were pretty great. You just gotta love Funabashi.

Drawing Style
The drawing style is pretty simple and, at times, sketch-like. The author draws simple on purpose to add to its Slice of Life genre. Though you can tell he spends more time on the backgrounds of the piece than the characters themselves at times. There are no gorgeous scenes that I could look at for hours like other series (cough cough Black Haze cough cough) have.

Overall
I thoroughly enjoyed this series. It was a nice blend of comedy and slice of life. It was a series that was easy and took my mind off of things. Its episodic pace made it easy to leave and pick back up whenever I needed a break. I often smiled at Funabashi's dumb and cringey antics and his total obliviousness. I say give this one a go if you need a cute, lighthearted failed-redemption manga.
