I pretty much liked this manga. The drawing style is excellent. The girls are beautiful. Seriously if you were Junpei-kun, you would have trouble too to choose one of the three girls. It's surprised me how it ended. I just dont like the way mangaka ended the story of the other two girls. I'm not telling you how because some people might still reading this manga. And I think this manga is worth reading it.

While it had a lot of potential from the very start, what it degenerated into was nothing more than repeated scenarios of having the main character alone with different girls. Of course, plot aside, if one reads more deeply into the behavioral characteristics of the various characters, in there we can see a redeeming feature, aside from the double-edged sword we all know as 'ecchi-ness'. Even then, development was not completely evened out amongst the three main female leads. While I can't say much about the ending except that it was pretty bland and that I didn't like it (yeah, sue me, I'm biased against Nishino), certain things that could have turned out great including the rivalry from Amachi (who degenerated literally into a gag character most of the time) as well as Satsuki's passionate pursuit of Manaka, which made her pass off as no more than a well-endowed redhead bimbo. Perhaps some of the things were wrongly expressed....I liked a few bits about some of the humor, though, though there just wasn't enough real angst around sometimes, something which i did not expect to happen in a manga of the romance-comedy sort. The main problem would be the fact that the story dragged on too long, and the scenarios were just repeated and I just didn't like how Manaka was made to look like he 'succumbed' to mind games rather than really making his own choice. The artwork's pretty good, though. To be lenient, a slightly above average rating, nothing more.

alot of potential, huge letdown by Anonymous on December 12th, 2005, 10:31pm

The manga started out really well, then starts dragging on and on and became a chore to read. Manaka is one of the worst main characters ever. It is no wonder the magazine it ran in told the mangaka to wrap up the story because it received really bad ratings from the readers, like dead last. Sad.
