Arranged marriage with slow romance
(6 posts, 545 views) Posted: 25d 23h, 20m ago by Blique in I'm Looking For...
Otoyomegatari - they get along very amiably, but don't develop romantic feelings until a bit later (though it's hard to tell how the male lead feels).

Zettai Heiwa Daisakusen - I remember it takes a long time for the female lead to fall in love, but there' ...

World transport series that are actually good
(11 posts, 2316 views) Posted: 42d 0h, 42m ago by Blique in I'm Looking For...
I updated my list a little, though it's been a while and I forgot the plots of some of the ones I dropped, so I didn't list them...I might get around to that later.

Anyhow, I'm back again wanting more recommendations! Please and thanks! ...
Manga with plain but awesome female lead
(14 posts, 921 views) Posted: 64d 21h, 1m ago by Blique in I'm Looking For...
I second Cheese in the Trap. She's average in looks and social skills, but she's very hard-working and has extremely good intuition. There are multiple instances where she stands up to bullies, and faking smiles is often how she gets by in life. ...
Manga with literal strong female lead

Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer has a really strong female lead. ...
A really good Tragedy Manga Please
(9 posts, 616 views) Posted: 115d 20h, 19m ago by Blique in I'm Looking For...
Hito Hitori Futari is a pretty nice one. Complete too.

Kasane (MATSUURA Daruma) might work. More horror than tragedy though. I still need to get around to continuing it, so I can't guarantee the quality past the first several chapters.

Zankoku na Kami ga Shih ...
A manga with an oujidere lead?
(3 posts, 395 views) Posted: 212d 17h, 49m ago by Blique in I'm Looking For...
I second Takane to Hana. And I agree, oujidere are often seen in a lot of yaoi.

Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai might fit...Not entirely sure about the dere part. He does achieve dere-ness many times, but it's just acting, but at the same time it's intended for the ...

Sorry it's been a while, got distracted by various things.

I read all of the Silver Diamond releases so far, and I love it! I'll check out other stuff by the author too.

I read Rure a while back and remember that I liked it, but I think I stopped reading because the ...
New Poll - Character Shift
(28 posts, 2465 views) Posted: 230d 1h, 35m ago by Blique in News
Why are so many people voting for gender? confused Gender doesn't affect personality, so it's not much different from a physical appearance redesign.

Well, I do assume the author gives a good reason for the poll option changes, as opposed to just going in ...
World transport series that are actually good
(11 posts, 2316 views) Posted: 235d 8h, 22m ago by Blique in I'm Looking For...
@reanseih:
Feel free to re-suggest stuff I listed if you think they're really good. I dropped a lot of them pretty early on because I found the writing/protagonists to be cliche/boring, but if later events make it worthwhile, I might consider picking it back up.

Your s ...
World transport series that are actually good
(11 posts, 2316 views) Posted: 242d 18h, 51m ago by Blique in I'm Looking For...
Hello~ So I've always loved the world transport trope, and I'm happy that RPG-loving writers have really jumped on it lately, but I've also noticed that most of them seem to be pretty badly written, usually having shallowly overpowered self-insert p ...
Something like gakkou gurashi
(5 posts, 686 views) Posted: 266d 1h, 11m ago by Blique in I'm Looking For...
Biomeat: Nectar comes to mind for weird horror, though I can't remember if there's much comedy in it. If you end up liking it, other stuff by Fujisawa Yuki, like Metro Survive, are also nice.

12-ji no Kane ga Naru is a short one, but it's worth a rea ...
Under Rated Seinen
(18 posts, 5237 views) Posted: 287d 17h, 33m ago by Blique in Shounen/Seinen
Despite Tezuka Osamu's fame, I don't think many people have actually read his works. I recently finished rereading Tetsu no Senritsu - the main story and its accompanying oneshots are nice. ...
Any shoujo with a yandere MALE lead?
(4 posts, 1817 views) Posted: 287d 17h, 38m ago by Blique in Shoujo/Josei
Cheese in the Trap is josei, but it fits the other criteria. The female lead is smart and intuitive, and the male lead is merciless to anyone he dislikes or who's a threat to the female lead. No smut though. ...
romance/reincarnation/fantasy light novel
(5 posts, 1299 views) Posted: 287d 17h, 47m ago by Blique in I'm Looking For...
The Reincarnated Princess Strikes Down Flags Today as Well (Novel) is really good. I've read a lot of the fantasy game reincarnation novels coming out, and this one is best hands down. The protagonist is smart, and the characters are interesting. ...
Yaoi and religion/homophobic religious people
(4 posts, 937 views) Posted: 631d 7h, 11m ago by Blique in Yaoi/Yuri
Maiden Rose, possibly. He wants to have a relationship but struggles internally with it due to public expectations of him. It's been a while since I read it, but I think he is a religious figure...? Or practically one at least. Though, I can't remember if the expect ...

Slice of life/adorable shounen-ai/yaoi
(4 posts, 2147 views) Posted: 645d 8h, 20m ago by Blique in Yaoi/Yuri
Rutta to Kodama - really cute, slice of life.

Star-like Words - head-over-heels first-love story, slice of life, super cute.

Yubisaki no Koi - cute story with shy uke.

Calling (OTSUKI Miu) - and most stuff by Ootsuki Miu; she likes using hearts and lovey-dovey elements.

Utsukus ...
