Unless the summary is especially interesting to me, I always go by the rating actually. In my experience, if there's already more than a chapter or three scanlated and the rating is hovering around 9.0, it usually isn't shit. Exceptions withstanding of cour ...
Rurouni Kenshin ...anime or manga?
(8 posts, 1320 views) Posted: 2105d 7h, 31m ago by Amagasa in Rurouni Kenshin
Manga is the way to go. Like someone already said, the last 30-40 episodes are entirely filler, so unless you really liked the manga and want to see it animated, I'd give a skip to the anime.

Now with that said... after you're done with the manga, you absol ...

The Lolicon Shotacon Debate
(315 posts, 48421 views) Posted: 2286d 12h, 23m ago by Amagasa in News
I don't believe I'm reading any shotacon/lolicon titles, but completely removing all information of titles in those genres is something I wouldn't want. I could live with just removing the download links though, I suppose. ...

Well, according to John Lennon...

Quote
Love is real, real is love,
Love is feeling, feeling love,
Love is wanting to be loved.
Love is touch, touch is love,
Love is reaching, reaching love,
Love is asking to be loved.
Love is you,
You and me.
Love is knowing
We can be.
Love is free, free is love,
Love is living, living love,
Love is needing to be loved.

Only very rarely, and only the really good, still on-going ones where I need to refresh my memory to fully enjoy reading on. So far I've only re-read Beck and Berserk, and I suppose I'll end up re-reading Vagabond at some point down the line. Other tha ...

Asano Inio's works come to mind. Though it it's labeled as seinen, Solanin would be a good bet. It'll surely appeal to you if you'd normally like a serious josei, too. ...

Like a few others, I'd recommend the Genki books. Using it myself right now, as well. Another book I've heard being called the best, aside from Genki, is Minna no Nihongo. Haven't looked at it myself so I can't really comment on it further ...
