Normally, I would never give this a 1, since I reserve it for the lowest of the low. However, there were two pages within the manga that ticked me off so much that I cannot rate this anything else besides a 1 now. What it was? Well, the uke saying,
Like, it pissed me off so much. Especially, when later on, within this work, consent is given such importance, and figures so much in almost all of Yukimura-sensei’s work. It’s just … really sad, you know?

“wait, does that mean Hasashi won’t sexually assault me anymore? Do I want to be sexually assaulted?”

i didn't care much for the first story. hisaishi liking keisuke was a bit creepy and keisuke was much too immature for my tastes. grow a spine and get a clue, little boy! on the other hand, i loved the second story much better. as an older sibling i sympathized with minamoto so much (especially the part where he said he cried ;_; ) and kiichi was a really interesting character.

i just didn't think that the older bro would be the uke! lol. though it's a bit unconventional, i think it would have been even more unconventional to have kiichi be it, since it's so rare to see such forwardness in an uke and tsundere-ness in a seme. oh well.
Hehe...

Both the story and the couple is very cute! Especially about the elder brother with his step-brother. So Adorable and Funny! So charming! I don't know that Yukimura-sensei can make something like that. I thought she can't make the Uke so manly like that. Sorry! But i'm happy she can! And that turned so nice! LOVE IT! The Elder Brother is sooo Tsundere Uke! Worth it! ♥ ♥ ♥

Wasn't the first story shota? It was shota, right? That was a turn-off for me. So the first story is about a kid and his brother's childhood friend who he always runs to when things go wrong. It's one of those typical kataomoi (unrequited love) stories. The second story is about his brother and...he who will not be identified until you read the story. That was not shota. At least, it didn't look like shota. I'm kinda confused as to what age a character has to be for it to not be shota. Anyways, it's also a type of unrequited love story. I don't feel like these stories were special in any way. That's really all there is to say.

ok, so in real life this thing hisashi has for 13-yr-old keisuke would be creepy, but since this is yaoiland i forgive it. and hey, at least he waits until keisuke is 16 before he does anything. it's good that keisuke has him in his life, because his mother seems to be absent, and his brother is abusive (maybe his mother should at least have taught minamoto that being a good replacement father consists of more than strictness and constant physical punishment). contrary to other reviewers i don't think keisuke is a spoiled brat; he's just lonely and feels hated by his family; no wonder he runs off at every chance to be with hisashi -- which is what makes it all the more creepy, really. but i said i'd forgive that. ok. this is the sort of story i'd like to see itself play out in more than 1 volume, because that's just too short to delve as deeply into the characters as i'd like. i would have definitely wanted to see more of kiichi (i've seen quite enough of minamoto; who annoys the heck out of me). the art is nice; the characters are easy to tell apart. so, great story taste, but it's not quite filling.

Such a cute story. The first couple is pretty predicable, but I really loved Minamoto the older brother and wish there were more of his story. His relationship with his brother Keisuke and new brother (and lover) was much more interesting than the first storyline. I wish Keisuke had seen how much his brother had done for him, but he pretty much remained the same selfish (though lovable) brat in the end. This is a good stand alone volume, but it clearly leaves you wishing for more of these great characters. It gives a feeling of being unfulfilled, though still enjoyable.
ETA : I would completely disagree that Minamoto is in any way abusive to his brother. Tough love? Yes perhaps, but in no way was it ever done in a spiteful or mean way.

There are better and worse stories out there. Being only 1 volume, it can't be helped that the story doesn't go more in depth into the characters, which is unfortunate because each of them have a distinct and likeable (even if flawed) personality. Worth reading if you run out of other stuff to read!
Hmm.

It's a bit predictable and, but the characters are so well drawn and adorable that you feel you can forgive it; the art is very light and casual, so it's good for a cute read. For some reason, I found Keisuke very attractive— not quite feminine, but a very handsome young adult with a boyish charm.
To be honest, I would've liked it a lot more if it focused on Minamoto more— just from one chapter, I felt really bad for him with all the responsibilities he had to take on growing up, especially the pain he went through as a teenager trying to take care of his brother; I found myself saying "aw," out loud.

After one chapter you can see where the story if going

However, it's so damn cute that I just love it. If you are looking for true romance, this is it. Thanks Nakama! Yet another great piece y'all picked out!
