Could be a lot better

I liked the manga at the beginning, but the third volume is just a huge disappointment. The beginning builds up an interesting background but the second starts to vary a bit in quality and the third one is way off the rails. As rushed as the last volume is, I suspect that the mangaka had to rush the ending. There are so many ways they could have tied together their many strings, but alas. The first volume I would recommend to people, but most are probably better off to skip the other two - definitely the third one. Nothing of value will be lost.

Way too short

This starts slow and builds up a good background plot and then ruins the whole story by rushing. The plot suddenly takes off, which wouldn't be a bad thing but towards the end it seems to be trying to cram an entire bookshelf's worth of story into a few chapters which simply doesn't work. The most disappointing thing is that this had great potential if only it had been properly delivered. Off the top of my head I can think of at least 3 different plot lines I would have liked to have seem developed.

More than the wasted potential is the ending. Despite feeble attempts to tie things off ultimately the sudden ending make it seem as if the mangaka just forgot about this mid way through. Absolutely nothing was resolved and if anything more questions were raise.

The art is mediocre, nothing especially amazing but not exactly displeasing either. Very typical shounen really. This manga doesn't just need a sequel, it needs a complete do over. This manga has an interesting concept but is frankly disappointing and fustrating in the way it ends.

for all the pp who comment that there is no end:
It says that there are 3 volumes!! and only 2 are translated!!
so either it is some kind of misunderstanding or there is a continue but we probably won't see it T_T

Ending

I'll be frank, the ending was bad and too open ended. In spite of that, this is a solid series with its own interesting quirks. I kind of expected it to have more depth... but it's still a good story.

Humor made me laugh more than most mangas I read. Belmonde's tortures really made me laugh so hard that my stomach hurt for the next 12 seconds... However I was really disappointed that it ended in such a unsatisfying way, I hope the mangaka will make a sequel. But this is really a manga thats great in all aspects.

I was very impressed with how the series began. However in the latter half of the story, the plot seemed to be a little rushed, and I hope there is a sequel as the manga sort of ended abruptly and left a lot of unanswered questions.

I enjoy the ridiculous characters and the stylized art. The story isn't too bad and it really seems to be going places. Too bad there is no ending, and that sux big time.

The story is only starting now, but what I saw until now is quite unique.

I already love Belmonde's personality, and the two girls are great too.
I especiallly love how Chloe turned out to be. I know Celine has a bigger chance to become a love interest for Belmonde if there will be one, but i still like Chloe better.

I'd have to admit that the art doesn't exactly fit my taste, but it's not horrible either.. I've read two chapters so far and I just love the story!! this manga has the potential to be my all time fav if the author doesn't screw it up later on.. I'd recommend people to try and give a chance to this manga!!
