A Cute and Restoring Story

As another person has already mentioned: Asa Made Matemasen! is a refreshing manga. Most of the character types have been taken to a different type of character, such as gender, age, or personality traits (read the first chapter, or even just the categories to know what I mean). As always, Tanaka-sensei's artwork, humour, and scale are on target. There is also a wonderful absence of melodrama or other typical methods of making a simple interaction into a story. It's hard to speak of the overall plot since only the first chapter has been scanlated, and this does not strike me as a typically licensed story, so if only someone would pick this one upů That aside, even the first chapter alone is worth reading.

Its rare to see their character types in most manga, or you could say the common tropes had their sexes reversed.

The hero is genki - enthusiastic and sincere. His nice guy vibe is refreshingly endearing, and he gave off a dominating aura to protect someone. [Warning, man after my own heart smile)].

The heroine is hardworking, and sometimes comes off like a "cyborg". She isn't exactly kuudere though. Most heroines wait to be saved. But she gives all her effort, body and soul, to the work she treasures.

Read this if you're looking for a fun, innocent, and warm blossoming love -> set against the backdrop of 2 editors (cutely, but giving their best in) fighting for their respective manga [by the same author] to get published before the deadline.

Nothing particularly romantic or kyaaa about the story or the characters, but I suppose you see a cool headed tsundere female lead going up against a refreshing but naive sort of hero. Their dynamic is endearing as is the environment of a mangaka's editorial team that the story's set it.
