Very shoenen. If you like Busho Renkin, Erementar Gerad and others that combine action and school life (Mai Hime), chances are you'll enjoy this manga.

The protagonist is a typical shoenen protagonist (that is, gutsy, headstrong, and a bit stupid), but is allowed to show more character development (i.e. he gets his ass handed to him occationally), which in my view is welcome to the genre.

Other than that, it does have some very slight fanservice, but more often than not it's implied (this definately isn't Air Gear Ikkitousen), and the characters are well drawn.

This review is up to chapter 15, and while it has a couple scenes that are a bit redundant, overall it retains interest well at this point.

Wow... this one remembers me of Erementar Gerade, but instead of edil raids this one has humans that were forged into swords...

seriously - an absolutely awesome series, which was seemingly just about to get a whole lot better when, for some unknown reason, scanlating ceased altogether? wtf? lol - ncis are, imo, a good scanlation group but some Xblade fans need their fix now, because it's about 4 months late

really interesting, really nice art, great premise, and im dying to know what happens next.

Far far superior to the standard shounen crap. Good art, good story, nice pacing and the protaginist is actually pretty cool compared to about 99% of the other action shounens out there.

It takes a while but after 11 chapters or so, the events in the earlier volumes are starting to make some sense. Though it might be a little cliched and even a little confusing for now, I'd say that the story sounds quite promising provided it slowly and carefully establishes the vital plot and character developments.

P.S. Even if you don't like the story, you could always enjoy the kickass action scenes.

This pulled me in at chapter one and each new chapter drags me deeper. So far a great read and while graphic with the death scenes there's no sexually explicit nature yet which is a breath of fresh air. The art is great as well.

Dunno if it's deep or anything. The art is cool. The story is nice. The characters are cool. No sex or rape scenes till now, but with Some flashy blood. Normally with these kinda of titles you have rape and such, but not with this one hence I'm sold.

Its great battle strategy but my peeve point is Mana- why does she look like a 12 year old girl?..Otherwise, though cliched, the fact of 7 swords is pretty cool especially one to kill them all!
