If only the last 8 volumes were like the first 4 volumes.

Change 123 is the story about a girl who was trained vigorously, by birth, by her 3 fathers after her mother had died. Due to this she gains 3 distinct personalities. The sexy badass shooter, the alternate highschool personality that excels in martial arts, and her childlike personality which has mastered judo. Alongside this highschool girl (3+?) comes our main characters. A crybaby who really likes Kamen rider superhero. He figures out her secret of having 3 different personalities and they began a special relationship.

This manga honestly at the start was kinda awesome. The main heroine especially was just fucking awesome. I especially liked the badass shooter personality. She was really smart. One time she was wearing a dress with a big slit on the sides so if she lifted her legs too high people would be able to see her underwear something the main character actually told her to be careful of. But she removes the problem altogether by not wearing underwear at all... **GENIUS**. The other heroine's personalities all have their own charm including the main heroine personality. They all were likable some were just simply more likable then others.

But thats not why i liked this manga. This manga is absolutely brutal. Bones are breaking, fingers are being torn. Much of the series is incredibly violent. More so than i expected. The action of this series is quite spectacular. I'm honestly upset the author decided to make this series an ecchi. I don't like fanservice with my action scenes. But most of the good and entertaining action scenes were actually not deterred by boobs so i guess the author did kind of understand what the audience wanted to see at the time. Honestly the action is definitely very well done by the author and brutal to boot. Their are bones sticking out of people. Their was a scene where one of the characters actually rips of an assailant's arm and **starts beating the shit out of the attacker with it.** Definitely one of my favorite moments in the series.

The series is mostly based around female fighters. Many of the *strong* characters are actually women. Which itself isn't a problem their are strong male characters but definitely the series really revolves around female fighters. Female fighting in general.

I also liked the villains in the series. I mean they were assholes. But they weren't rapists. Even those generic looking ones were their face looks like they are rapists weren't rapist. The author instead opted for a more smart approach with the bad guys and i really liked it. Its amazing how making someone not a rapey generic bad guy goes so far.

The series though starts great starts going downhill after the brown chick is introduced.... I know their are better ways to end that sentence. The thing is the 4th volume was absolutely brutal and though you seen that brutality in the later volumes it just never lives up to the quality of the first 4 volumes. Another thing i liked is that the main character was also getting character development. I really wished the main character became stronger too but he just remained a whiny little bitch. You can be strong without being physically strong. Rokudou no Onna-tachi is an excellent example of a main character being strong without having the muscle for it. Sadly even though it seemed like it was going in that direction it just never goes further.

TLDR: i liked the boobs and the ecchi scenes in general. Unless they were in between fight scenes. I liked the villains unless they were generic rapey bad guys. Overall though i think the series just loses in terms of quality in the last 8 volumes. Not by a lot mind you. But enough for me to say this isn't a must read. 6/10

The story is fun to read. But the male characters are kind of useless. I don't see the point of why he has a harem in this series. I don't see the way the other girl sees in him.

Seriously Underrated Shonen Adventure/Romance

Action packed, fill with laughter, martial arts, a side of drama and lots of oppai. The male lead can be a little underwhelming at times because he's surrounded by super powered martial arts freaks, but he ultimately wins the girl not because of how strong he is, but because of how far he's willing to go for her.

Sometimes the plot can get a little messy, but overall it's serviceable and the ending is packed with feels of the happy kind. If you like adventure, action, martial arts, cute chicks and romance, then you'll likely really enjoy this manga.

A Great, Exciting Manga

So this was kind of a surprise for me that I ended up liking this as much as I did, during the early chapters there was a few times where I was sure the story was going to start petering off soon and then suddenly I was over halfway through the series. One of the greatest strengthens of this series is the length, it feels long enough that they can have an actual plotlines and story arcs while not being so long that you lose interest. The characters are also one of the story's stronger points, though some of them are a bit shallow they do a good job of making most of the side characters useful and still contributing to the plot. Even the action is well done, the artist does a good job making us feel like some real violence is taking place. This series also succeeds by having a satisfying ending, something which many manga don't manage.

Of course there's some downsides. One of the biggest issues for me is that at times it feels like the romance is pretty shallow. It always bothers me when I don't know exactly why our main characters like each other, it's not like the main couple has NO reason to like each other but I felt like it was one of those "we like each other because we're both attractive people" situations. Also while I do think the ending was satisfying it also came rather abruptly. I think this is another of those mangas that would seriously benefit from an additional volume, or at least a proper epilogue chapter. We don't even get to see what happens with any of the side characters which is kind of a shame. Also while there IS a plotline that runs through the whole manga it often feels kinda disjointed, and they seem to just completely drop some plot threads entirely on occasion.

Overall this is a nice series with some great artwork, an actual plotline and a cast of characters you won't want to murder. There are some story issues but still I had a fun time reading this, I recommend this to anyone who likes boobs and girls fighting.

Loved it

It is simple but brilliant, and it ends with a happy feeling. It probably needed another chapter to give it a better closure and I think it needed the sword master father to have some influence in the development of the story, he barely appeared in comparison to the other two. The main guy can be a little bit naive at times, but that is his fortitude.

The best thing about this one is that it breaks out of certain typical situations that occur in other manga with romance, where the characters act in a way when presented with difficult situations that would make you think that they made the worst choice and want to get into the koma and punch them (you might identify them when you read this one) I found that really refreshing.

Give this one a try for a light read, there are no plot complications, you might enjoy it and like how it ends. I noticed this manga some months ago and found the synopsis and (specially) the cover pic retarded, made me think at the time "this stinks of useless guy and idiotic fanservice", and I was right! But it was properly developed.

too many useless male characters

the only thing i hate about this anime is the amount of male characters. im not effing homo i dont need those stupid male characters. what's worse is that they taking so many spaces on the pages. for example, the perverts on the school basically wants the female lead. instead of introducing female characters that helps the harem, you get those stupid male characters. then there's also the adult males, those are the bad points of this manga. its really a pain looking at those stupid characters.

Could have been better

This manga could have been better and I thought it would, but it was disappointing. The main character is a wimp that I would want to kill. He doesn't do anything and I was really hoping he changes but he doesn't. The plot was unique but it was not executed well. The ending was so rushed that argh.... Overall it was good at first but disappointing later on.

Halfway through, this manga stopped being about how many panty shots you could fit into a chapter and started focusing on things like laughter, life, and character. It isn't the sweetest story I've ever read, but it tries hard to come close to it. And there's a good deal of stuff that may or may not make sense, but it really leaves you with a smile and a really happy feeling.

All in all, it may take a little plowing through in the beginning, but definitely a manga to pick up and read if you have the time. Besides, I think it was worth reading just for the line "Even Wikipedia says it is!"

If you're looking for a fun manga, with a decent story, then keep looking. If you're looking for a story with lots of gratuitous nudity, panty shots etc, plenty of violence, and you don't mind a moronic story, then this might be ok. Its essentially a fighting manga, without a story. Oh, they throw out some nonsense plot here and there, but its basically all just more excuses for the constant fighting. Nothing else really matters. It does have nice artwork which boosted my rating for it, but its really not worth reading, particularly not more then once.

This is a great manga to kill time though sometimes I felt it a bit drawn. I agree with MangaGhost in that the male protagonist isn't supposed to be strong. He complements the female protagonist. This is definitely an excellent action manga if you like martial arts. Having plenty of interesting characters, there are some parts where there isn't enough character development. I wouldn't say it was a strong romance in comparison with its action genre but it was a romance nonetheless. In my opinion, the ending wasn't as satisfying, but it wasn't bad. If there were like extra couple chapters to fill in the gaps, I would have liked the ending more. Overall, I say it was pretty good and definitely worth reading if your like reading action mangas. The fanservice doesn't hurt either.
