I am disappointed of author

It's with sadness and anger that I see that Soutarou likes the girl version of satoi and not really his boy version.

A deepening would have been appreciated.

(I'm French sorry for my English)
This boy made me angry all along the Manga.

You know when you find a manga that has got an interesting premise, good art and nice love interest but the protagonist is so bad that it ruins everything for you? That's exactly how I felt reading the main story from this collection. Soutarou is such a wimpy in the most annoying way. Like, I get he has insecurities and lack of self-confidence, but he is so self-absorbed he looks like he doesn't really care about Satoi at all, only about how bad himself is and how he is afraid to be left alone. As if he doesn't really love the other, just wants someone that looks cute in girl clothes to never leave him. Also, the author made it look so obvious that he only liked Satoi while cross-dressed and was disappointed when they went out while he was dressed as a guy. Like wow, after all the trouble of making him man up and you destroy everything again by making it apparent that he only liked the 'girl-Satoi' smh.
I even tried re-reading again after a while thinking I may be able to enjoy it but I just got annoyed again, idk why I even tried tbh lol

I'm normally not very into shounen ai/yaoi mangas with cross-dressing main characters, but this one is my exception. It is not too long in length, the twist isn't so tragic and it's just so cute overall, although the ending of vol 1 may troll some people.

Volume 1 is a collection of multiple stories whose common theme is that they all have a certain twist, though the extent of that twist varies from story to story. I think I like the second one the most out of all of them at least for the fact that none of the main characters gets on my nerves, which I can't say the same about the remaining stories. And I've always been against cheap twists being lazily inserted into a story just for shock value and to serve no purpose whatsoever, so the last oneshot in this book definitely didn't sit right with me. Urgh I guess at least the art is good.

Edit: So volume 2 is a continuation of the first and second stories in volume 1 huh. Again, the wishy-washy main character in that main story is just so unlikeable that everything else feels like just a waste, even if the mangaka tried to turn the last chapter in that story into a redeeming arc for him or whatever. I definitely prefer the supporting cast way more.

I really enjoyed this series of oneshots they had a very abnormal feel to it. (as the comment before said). What really hooked me was the fact that this was the mangaka's first official book. I really wanna see more from her. Can't wait.

What I love most about this manga is that it's pretty much a series of stories tied together with a subtle theme. Abnormal. Manipulative lovers and people not knowing the whole truth. Often in yaoi you see one character taking advantage of the other but even when it happens here it turns out that both characters are abnormal and a match made in heaven!
