My favorite Yaoi so far!

This is my favourite BL series all time (together with Yuki Shimizu's ZE).
What I like about this series is that Sakuraga sensei has made a beautiful and amazing work with the different types of pairings.

In the Warui Koto series we have Mikado and Towa as the main couple.
Mikado is a very intelligent character with a dark/kind double personality. He's really charming, and always falls for Towa's innocence. He might seem cold, but his heart is burning for Towa.

Towa is really kind and sweet, to the point he might seem dumb. I really don't get why some people dislike him since Sakuraga sensei intended to made him that way. He's totally sweet and the only onw who could make Mikado happy.

Mine could sound as an unpopular opinion, but I really love this pairing. It's full of innocence and cute moments.

In the Ja nai Kedo series, Shinonome and Yukimura are the main pairing.
This is another interesting combo between a cool lazy guy and a tsundere brainy boy. This one is more erotic than Mikado and Towa and focuses more on how hard if for Yukimura to express his feelings to his childhood friend since he has been abused because of his pretty looks by men and women.

Shinonome is a cool guy who, regarless being treated with violence by his crush, Yukimura, he still loving him sincerely. He's also very fun and honest. Everybody can get to love this guy!

Yukimura is a pretty tsundere who put a lot of effort on his studies. He is not honest with his feelings, and his attitude makes Shinonome feel deppresed sometimes.

As a contrast to most part of the opinions, these two are not my favourites, but that doesn't mean that I don't enoy their stories. In fact, these two have the most detailed ero scenes since Shinonome is Mei sensei's fav character.

In the Mujihi na series we can find the most complex characters from an emotional POV.
Kuon and Nanao are a couple directed to an older public than the previous two.

Nanao is a declared homosexual who has been through many difficult situations for being gay. He has been treated like trash and has been victim of false rumours which have affected his relationships with other people. Nanao loves teasing people and is really funny, but he has tons of traumatic experiences that only Kuon is able to help him to overcome.

Kuon is Nanao's exact opposite: he dislikes teasing people, he's straightforward and hates promicuous guys.

Kuon and Nanao have a hard start, but Kuon opens his mind to understand Nanao, and ends falling for him regardless the fact that he was straight.

I totally love the maturity of this couple and their hot scenes. Kuon is very lustful and possesive. His personality makes those scenes really hot.

In Shouwaru Ookami ga Koi wo Shita Rashii, Sakuraga sensei presents Akagi and Nao as protagonists.

Akagi is a guy who doesn't believe in love and he hides his real thoughts under a facade.

Nao, on the other hand, is a really sweet and sensible guy. He catches Akagi's heart because of his pure feelings and good intentions.

So far, even though I like this couple (same as all Sakuraga sensei's pairings), this is my least favourite. I enjoyed their story anyway, but they still need more development.

Summarizing, all I can say is that I looooooove these stories. All of them, they never fail entertaining me, and their art is very, very good too! As expected of Sakuraga-sensei.

I recommend this manga to everyone! It is my favorite so far!

Amazing series, a must read!

Every single book of the warui series is amazing and thus deserves a review and rating.
I just love everything about it! The art is great, there's a fun little story and the really nice thing about it is that you get to know all sorts of characters and as the series progresses on, you'll get to see their own romances!
The characters are simply awesome! They're not all that deep or serious, but they're funny and extremely lovable! I really enjoy the wanna-be delinquents who are all actually very tame and sweet and cute and all, just as much as the student council president who wants to break free from his chains to be himself and the tsundere vice president... there's such an overload of likable characters in the series, it's very hard to pick a favorite!
The oneshots here are alright but my focus lies with the main story.
I'll go ahead and recommend this series (make sure you read it in order!) to any yaoi fan because it's addicting and for me it's totally a must read of the genre!
If you're someone who keeps rooting for the lonely friends or brokenhearted side characters then you'll love this!

You are ruining my experience here in Baka, really... If the author and editor think the books are different works, have different names (and not "xx vol 17"), why do you group it together? Last time I pointed this, you split the titles, I don´t now if only for me or for everyone. But there weren't there the comments and the rating anymore... Can't you restore this data?
Please, change this politic, you have an item there called "related series" where we can get all the related series as the title says.
And SAKURAGA Mei wrote now only five works... Please, revert this, and restore comments and ratings as they used to be...

My type of manga totally, I really like the art (personally I find it very beautiful) I didn't pick it up before because the covers don't look very good but the actual art of the manga is absolutely great.
Even thought it's traditional Student Council romance it stands out and it's very well paced.

I'm not big fan of uke-dumb-like-log but I can't just hate this one >< So more plus points for me.

Whole series is worth reading if you like connected romances.

This manga is a counterpoint to my generic tastes, and rather surprisingly, I love it. Absolutely love it. I read it a few dozen times on the net and I couldn't get enough so I forked out money to get the entire series shipped to my doorstep, and unfortunately for me, my mom found out and threw a fuss, not just about the shipping fees, but the fact I was reading non-mainstream romance. What terrible luck, but I suppose I ought to count myself lucky she didn't see fit to throw the books into a fire.

But I digress, regarding the characters, personally, I find them lovely. Towa is just so terribly endearing and Mikado makes a pretty matching seme. Separately as individual characters, they wouldn't have made much of an impression, but as a couple they were too adorable for words. Generally, I like ruthless semes, slightly on the sadistic side, and stupid-brave, but also insecure, ukes.

Case in point Asami and Akihito from Finder, Mookyul and Ewon from Totally Captivated, Havi and Vald from Crimson Spell. But oddly enough, among them all, I can say quite confidently that I love Towa and Mikado best. The dynamics of their relationship appeal to my rather offbeat sense of humour. Even if Towa can be so silly it completely boggles my mind, and Mikado is not quite up to the harsh standards of Asami or Mookyul yet.

And I think, I really do, that if they were paired with anyone else but each other, I wouldn't have liked them so terribly much, perhaps, I wouldn't have liked them at all. But as it is, as they are, I now say I've not known two characters better suited for each other than Towa and Mikado, they epitomize the overused cliche 'made for each other', and I meant that in a positive way. I have yet to see a seme whose devotion is as true as Mikado's or an uke whose faith and loyalty runs so deep.

While other semes manipulate (and I do enjoy those) or coddle (I like those a little less) Mikado protects in the truest sense of the word, I quote Mikado, he 'back(s) (Towa) up'. Without asking for anything in return. And Towa, the one specific thing that really struck my core was that his faith in Mikado was absolute. The average uke has a tendency to suspect their partner of some devious scheme (not that I blame them) but Towa's loyal to Mikado to the point that he wouldn't stand for anyone bad-mouthing him. In a way, I like it that they're special to each other, they're actually nice. Compared to other manga, where the seme's often especially mean.

All in all, I find it a really wonderful read, and I'm falling in love with both of them all over again everytime I read it.

One of The Best!

This whole series is amazing! It's become one of my favourite yaoi series. Sakuraga-sensei is so talented and her art is beautiful. At times it may get messy and the shading can be a little overwhelming, but nonetheless it's definitely eye candy. She has a variety of different pairings within the story and all of the characters connect to one another. (Whether it be siblings, friendship, family, etc.) I have no words for how much i adore the characters. They each have a different background which forms them into who they are as people and being able to see the world from everyone's perspective was great! (: The stories are cute, funny, hot, and unbelievably heartwarming. Although it may come off as cliche, Sakuraga-sensei spices things up and makes it into something worth reading. Trust me, you are bound to fall in love with one of these couples.

Towa and Mikado are super cute together as a couple. I don't mind reading about naive, dense characters because i find them cute. Towa has the perfect amount in his personality trait for me to enjoy it so much and the fact that he's also a delinquent is interesting. xD I don't have much to say about mikado because he's exactly what you would expect from a seme. He does some pretty cute things tho, like blushing whenever towa says something sweet.

Yuki and Shinonome, ahh i love these two! I'm not a fan of tsunderes myself for many reasons but for some reason, i have such a strong love for yuki. He's trying his best and it's sweet seeing the tiny character development that does happen throughout the story. He's so fragile even tho some people remember him as being strong and tough. He still has that streak in him and seeing it appear every now and then is great. Also childhood friends is my weak spot for any type of story.

Nanao and Kuon are my favourite couple in this entire series. Nanao is the type of character that i tend to have my attention immediately fixated on. I always gravitate towards characters who have lots of insecurities, flaws, and low self-esteem. And the fact that he has a very lusty personality makes me drawn to him even more. *-* Kuon is the perfect guy to be in nanao's life and gives him strength and the proper mindset that he is worth being in a loving relationship and deserves to be happy. There's so much angst and oh, how i love it all.

Personally, i don't care for Akagi and Kousaka. I'm excited to find out what will happen between Nagahisa, Yuu and Kimiko. That'll be entertaining and man, i wish yuu didn't have a growth spurt. It would've been just fine if he were a short, feminine, seme. That's the yuu i know.

Depends on which couple you read

First off, the main couple: Mikado and Towa. Their love story gets on my nerves in the future volumes. Towa being so dumb- ah, I mean thick-headed and dense. I admit it is cute. As long as it is kept in MODERATION. This particular trait is what Mikado fell in love with though so what the hell. They are an adorable couple and I love Mikado's possessiveness but they aren't my fave in the series. Ranked 3rd in my list.

Second couple: Shinonome and Yukimura. Let me just say that they are my least favorite couple. Tsunderes ain't my cup of tea. I always feel bad for the seme who falls for a tsundere uke. Props to Shinonome for being a patient boyfriend. Ranked 4th.

Third couple: Kuon and Nanao. Used to be my first favorite couple (until Former Council President Akagi and Disciplinary President Kousaka happened). I love all the elements in their story. Which basically means: I love angst. I love Nanao. I love Kuon. I always love the drama genre so I'm always up for a heart-wrenching, tear-jerking story. I love how Kuon is slowly picking up Nanao's broken pieces and putting him back together. They ain't perfect and that's what makes it a perfect read for me. (Especially the latest installment, Mujihi na Karada). Rank 2nd.

Finally, Akagi and Kousaka. These two are my top 1. I honestly hated Kousaka's presence in Sunao ja Nai Kedo. But that thought disappeared after he got his own story. Once again, this is angst (yay!) I love Akagi's split personality and Kousaka's family problems (especially that thing going on with his brother). The reason they're my OTP in this series is cause of the family theme in their story - both of them having family issues - which I can relate to. Mikado and Towa's story is just a mix of stupid and sweet. Shinonome and Yukimura's side focuses on the delinquency aspect. While Kuon and Nanao's story is about... uhh... locking your lovers in a cage/cell.

I didn't really care much about the recent oneshot. The one about Mikado and Nanao's older sister, Kimiko, Kuon and Towa's older brother, (Naga)Hisa-nii, and Shinonome and Towa's friend, Yuu. Yuu would look smokin' hot as a seme buuuuut I'm really hoping that Sakuraga-sensei would put all her attention on the other four couples that she's already written about >.<

I really enjoyed how the characters were drawn, the pages were a bit clouded when it came to shading and busy with background. But, I still really enjoyed it.

Really good for a one-shot!

I liked the main story specially and the second one too. The others are ok, but not that great.
For a one-shot, it's exactly what I was looking for: not much sex but enough to tease, good plot and lovey-dovey couples.

I'd actually have wanted it to go on, because Towa is the perfect uke and Mikado is the perfect seme (at least for me, 'cause they're the types I like).
As for Yuki and Shinonome, read the sequel "Kirai ja nai kedo "!

Lovely art in the first two ones!!

I read Sunao ja nai kedo first and end up reading all book in the series; that surprises me because BL is not my main type (I even buy magazines to read Shouwaru Ookami!!!). The story might be predictable but it's still fun and quite enjoyable to read.

- Towa was too naive for me, but I guess that's why our Mikado loves him
- For pair 2, I like the fact that Yuki-chan seemed to be good at everything except love and Shinonome was no good at all (at least in his study) but he was the best at chasing after Yuki-chan.
- The story of Kuon/Nanao was more serious than the other two. Still they made a good pair: A possessive Kuon and a no self confidence Nanao-san.
- Akagi-senpai and Kousaga were different in personality, but there were alike somehow (what did I just say? LOL). They're an unexpect pair for me. I wish there're more stories about them.
