Quite poetic

Nakamura Asumiko has a way of making everything seem fresh even when the story is as bare and fundamental as this oneshot. The execution was definitely unconventional in its minimal approach to the subject matter, which is what gives it that crisp, light yet gentle edge that leaves a little something lingering on your mind. But being unconventional is just sensei's signature style so there's nothing really surprising there.

Interesting & Refreshing

This was a interesting style to read. It wasn't like regular manga, where the story follows a timeline and gives continuous detail about specific events. This oneshot was like tiny snapshots of their relationship, one day it shows one page about day x, then the next page jumps to day y.

It was very cute and even though I hate oneshots usually, it didn't leave me with a sour taste. It was about two boys questioning if what they were doing is okay in a society like this, where there are norms to follow. It was like coming up for fresh air. smile
