Well, it was quite good, although I wish it would've lasted longer. The ending was soo sad! Not to mention kinda quick. They didn't even say if Kippei got married.

Well it's been awhile since I read this but I definitely liked it, whatever whatever, great story read it it's worth it =D

3 out of 10 !!?? whats with that kind of rating, the many individual stories in the series shows a lot of important lessons in life especially the series' theme is a great slice of life example~
like what m2k said be realistic and i bet you cant even make a decent plot~

i just finished reading the ending, and it was so sad such a happy ending..but it was kinda quick. i wonder how old was yuzu and kippei (she was probally like in jr high now)

Never rate a story to 3, you're saying that the author lacks grammatical skills and the story is unreadable and the art is like a 5 year old's drawing. Rating a manga 3/10 is unrealistic.

Story/Plot:- Just like several other shoujo romance manga the story is about a high school boy, Kippei who a bit of a player. This is until when his is stuck looking after his 5 year old cousin who's mom abandoned her. From here on their relationship grows into something special.

Artwork:- This manga has beautiful artwork with decent environments and a lot of detail put into the character designs.

Final Thoughts:- I'm a regular guy who's rarely read any shoujo manga and yet I found this story very heart-warming , as it's full of a lot of social issues and issues to do with looking after a kid. The story never really feels dragged out as it flows at a steady pace and it's interesting to see the different types of people the main character interacts with. This manga really isn't for everyone but I seemed to enjoy it. ^_^

The series description made me think that Yuzuya's presence would be a plot device which influenced the major plot line of the series, Kippei's love life--but in fact, Yuzuya and Kippei's love life are both major plot lines. Yuzuya's more so.

The series has many similarities to Kare Kano. (It's not a masterpiece like Kare Kano, of course.) It's about people who discover or explore what it means to have love, romance, and family. The way the "love" theme was handled also reminded me a bit of Eternal Sabbath (not the main themes of ES, but the lesser ones). The friends and siblings of the major characters also have their stories (relationship drama), which are usually light and brief. Most plots developments in Aishiteruze Baby just concerned the main 2 plot lines (Kippei's love and Yuzuya).

At the start of the series, Kippei is just a "player", but caring for Yuzuya brings out his mature side. Because the form of Kippei's romantic drama is ambiguous until one or two volumes into the story, I can't speak about it at all and thus will have to skip past many of the positive points and onto the other main plot line, Yuzuya. Therein lies my one major complaint about the series: Yuzuya is clearly is her own unique person capable of emotional problems, but many times her behavior and reasoning felt caricatured into order to act as a plot device. In other words, I wasn't too into Yuzuya, although the relationship between her and Kippei was really cute. Also, the rhetoric of this manga didn't impress me, though it wasn't bad.

Well, I didn't read it for that: I kept on reading because I really needed to know how the romance turned out. In any case, I hope what I've said doesn't come out negative because it would spoil the first two volumes for me to counterbalance my criticisms by talking about the romance in enough detail to praise it. And just because I've criticized an aspect of part of the plot doesn't mean I didn't value or enjoy that part of the plot as I experienced it. All in all, Aishiteruze Baby was a very enjoyable read for me.

Hmm Where do I start. The only good thing about this is the pretty drawings. The author did NO justice to her nicely drawn characters with the plot. The plot was MESSY to a point that you can take it and make into a few individual stories. There lack a focus. It wobbled here and wobbled there with the storyline. Seriously..i could care less about yuyuzu(sp?) and the male lead's relationship. Sure it's cute, but i'm not 10yrs old, and really isn't into that kind of things anymore. There was hint was relationship the other girl, but it was just scratching the surface. Big dissappointment. Also, what kind of an ending was that? It's like UUghhhh..throw me a bone here !
