Unique lazy art, plain cuteness

When I started reading this series, I was quite taken aback by its laidback drawing. I even thought of dropping after a half of the first volume, but the pure moeness of the main character (of first volume) kind of got me stuck.
The whole series provide light laughter, people who are used to manga comedy genre will probably find the jokes as nothing new, but it still serves as a good tea-time break. I too came across a couple or two punchlines which got me bursting instead of just snickering.
It's weird though, that halfway through, the main character changes. Probably because the author needed to add in more characters for fun synergy, and the old heroine had no more plot to dwell about.
There are a couple of ecchi scenes, probably normal since this was published for mature audience anyway. People who read the tankobon probably wouldn't realize this due to the childish nature of the content. It's probably meant for some older generation to rekindle their youth.
