Which means to say that this is the complete opposite of my cup of tea. That oh-so-familiar convoluted yet predictable plot really was.. something, indeed But even when leaving the subpar story aside, there are still many things I'm unsatisfied with, especially when it comes to the narrative and pacing - areas where the author's lack of experience became most painfully obvious. Her amateur style of drawing panels/ transitions also isn't as effective as I'd like it to be.

WHY DOES THIS STORY HAVE A VERY LOW RATING?!?!?! IT'S SOOO GOOD AND FLUFF MY HEART JUST CAN'T!!!! THE WAY THE SEME LOVES AND RESPECTS THE UKE (HIM NOT HAVING SEX WITH THE UKE DURING HEAT WAS A HUGE SIGN THAT HE TREASURES THE UKE!!) AND HOW THE SEME IS TRYING SOOO HARD TO UNDERSTAND THE UKE!!! I CAN CLEARLY SENSE THE LOVE HERE!!!

I was just so sick of forceful seme and pushover uke that this kind of couple is veryyy rare. I JUST LOVE THIS MANGAKA FOR NOT TOLERATING RAPE AND VIOLENCE!!! (their may be rape, but it wasn't between the couple. The mangaka didn't tolerate rape in the sense that s/he doesn't romanticize it)

I honestly am not open about reading omegaverse, but this is an exception.

This manga was an emotional roller-coaster for me. I felt the outmost disgust for the uke before I read about his tragic past and then I felt guilty for misjudging him. He was a poor cinnamon roll and couldn't act like a bad person, though he tried. I found the seme's character very pure and endearing. The cutest thing ever is that he always treats his uke like he's the most delicate thing on earth and even when they are intimate, he's a gentleman through and through.

Their teacher was the biggest pervert (in the worst sense) and a scum of the earth. When he found out that his student worked as a whore, instead of going to the police to report the whore-house for hiring an underage person as a sex worker, he became his biggest patron, had sex with him when the uke was in heat and even bit his neck later on (though he was a beta) in an attempt to become a pair after stalking him for days, hitting him, breaking the door of his house and raping him. I wanted to see him suffer at some point, just to before the fluffy, happy ending.

The art is nice. I think this mangaka's strong point is not the dark stories cause the cute scenes were very refreshing. I've read tons of yaoi and couples like Taisei and Aoi are so hard to find. I love how Taisei was always kind and proper and how Aoi got slowly used to his pace. I love how they loved each other in that sense.
