Description

When happy-go-lucky Shiro is suddenly murdered, he finds himself summoned to heaven by the small God Kami-Sama. The two hatch a plot to form a "family" with the addition of a beautiful ninja named Kuro. Kuro has his own troubled past. Will these three lonely misfits find a way to overcome their differences and forge a lasting bond?
This volume contains a second story called G.E. about students training to be taimashi, and the quest they embark on.

I bought this one because it sounded interesting, and I was in need of some new late night reading material. This turned out to be a good choice. There is actually more than one story in this volume. The title story is cute and the characters are very likeable. The child-like god that brings Shino and Kuro to his garden is bratty, but endearing. Kuro and Shino are opposites suddenly having to deal with each other - all because of Shino's "choice". Nicely done for a short story.
The second story involves student's training to be taimashi. Again the characters are cute and likable. Raiho and Yukito again are opposites in personality. They have plans of going to the dragon god's lair, and are looking for others to go with them. Raiho definitely has a thing for Yukito, and tries really hard to get Yukito to return those feelings. A really nice short story.
The art in this manga is really nice as well. It is definitely shounen ai and not yaoi, so anyone worried about getting hold of a graphic yaoi need not worry. This one is safe for those not really into yaoi. ( It has an OT rating) Definitely worth reading.
