What exactly are you talking about?
In all honesty, Mangas/anime that have fujoshi characters are usually making fun of them, or criticizing them, so instead of "getting a good chuckle" out of this, your fujoshi friends will just hate themselves even more lol

I read this because it was supposed to be a comedy, but, here's the thing: In order to enjoy this, you must enjoy--or at least not be repulsed or irritated by--fangirls (and I don't mean fans who are girls. I mean those fans of anime and manga (of either sex) who are primarily losers just sodomizing something with no respect for it--in other words, weeaboos), fangirl escapades (things fangirls think are fun), perverted jokes and escapades, BL, otaku culture, fujoshi (fangirls obsessed with BL), and fanservice. If these things don't bother you, then go ahead, the art's fine; you will probably find this a fine read, and possibly even funny.
If you aren't amused by any of the things on that list, you are like me, and you will be going "ugh, this is so lame... but the art is okay, and maybe it'll be funny soon" more times than you will be able to count. You will also want to give most of the characters a good slap in the face. A lot. I didn't like any of them, and was annoyed at most of them by the end. (I should, however, say that the two male leads are really not that bad. They are just a little otaku-ish, not really fangirls at all. I wouldn't say they are likeable, but they're not repulsive like almost all of the others. They were the least terrible part of the manga--after the art, which is nice.) You will also roll your eyes a lot, because most of the goings-on are perverted escapades, which happen often, since for some reason the mangaka thinks that these are funny, but I am above middle school age, so I found them to be childish and annoying. So the stories and the vast majority of the characters are awful, but the worst part of this manga, you will find (for those of you sympathetic to my tastes), is that it is just not at all funny. I recommend that you pass this one by.

I bought this on a whim like everyone else it seems. This isn't the kind of series you'd set out to go buy, but the night I bought it, and read it I couldn't stop laughing. This was honestly the funniest manga I've ever read.
I love it mostly because of all the references. The 'story' tales place in America. Yet, the main characters are all anime lovers. And, well, the girls specialize in Yaoi, of course.
I was surprised at how the characters developed. Everything about this manga was...interesting. Yes, it doesn't have the best art. It's almost cartoonish, but It adds to the effect I tell you! If it had amazing art would it really make the story any better. I own both books, and yes I did cut out the Aoi card in the back of the first book (you'd have to buy it, unless your fast with a pair of scissors at a book store) And I love the books. I let many of my friends borrow them, and they agree that it's hilarious.
It doesn't quite lose it's yaoi plot after the first book, but it becomes a little toned down. More about the characters. Which is good. It adapts to a kinda sweet story. I recommend you read it, but hey that's just me. If you don't like the first chapter then you can stop. Until then I hope this review helped. (prolly not since It's 5 in the morning, I stayed up all nigh, and I'm just typing what comes to mind.)

A great random find.

Having picked up both volumes in a second hand store just for kicks; I never expected to spend the next hour in a severe fit of giggles that I couldn't control. 'AOI House' one of those fast paced reads that you can picture yourself or any number of your friends replacing the title characters. With a couple OMG moments and several fanservice shots this is a web-comic-to manga that will not disapoint many. I highly suggest it to anyone in need of a smile.

I thought it might just be a tad funny, but I am so glad to be wrong! It was HILARIOUS! If you have friends that are into Yaoi they'll get an extra chuckle out of this.

I was not expecting this to be a good read since its only 2 volumes
boy was i wrong
This is a very funny series that touches bases on alot of the popular anime and manga thats out now. the description does not give this manga justice to the hilarity that goes on for the 2 strait guys and their hamster in an yaoi fans dorm
