I actually quite like the setting in this doujinshi but I don't know how I feel about its plot (or lack thereof). I get that it's slice-of-life in nature so expecting huge events to happen would be asking for too much, but that doesn't mean it can just drop the ball halfway and call it an ending without leaving any trace of closure for the audience. That's just bad writing and there's no excuse acceptable no matter how "artsy" and different it's supposed to be prior to that point.
