i personally like the artwork and the smut... the story's normal but the rest just made up for it... i totally love the way prince looks... he just looks soooooooo very hot...
This manga is literally overrated. I agree with the others--it started out fine, but after the first volume (I won't even say the second volume), it started spiraling downhill at full speed. There's just too much random drama and unrealistic characters (unrealistic characters would be okay, had they been given a chance to have some type of development, but the characters never "grow up" or learn from their mistakes. The main character is so easy to manipulate, and the tyrannical prince is nothing but tyrannical.
I completely agree with the comment by pjahisvain. When I first started reading this back in the first volume, I loved it. I mean, it really kept me on my seat and I really wanted to know what happened next. Things went downhill from there. The 'heroine' becomes such a weak-willed girl that I lost respect for her a long time ago. She constantly lets people push her around (especially the guy) then gets all sad, depressed, and begins to blame herself when the guy stops jumping her and starts to ignore her. Come on now...>.>
I'll continue to read this mainly to see more crap dumped on the girl and guy. I can't say I'm rooting for anyone in this manga.

Initially, the comic started off REALLY well, i mean... you will DEFINITELY be interested innit. However, around the 2nd or 3rd volume, the plot gradually bored me and in the end, the raping and all that is just too repetitive that i dont think it's all romantic anymore. I agree with some people saying how this comic can be a great use for those with raging hormones (yknow what i mean) though if you're looking for a romance... you've picked out the wrong manga.
*sighs* i was really looking forward to a good middle and ending throughout this story due to its unique beginning. I guess, i'll have to search for another one then. I've actually ended my reading at its 3rd volume ... pleaseeee, do tell me if i'm wrong about this comic and a great reason to continue my reading-session.

LOL I agree with nightswan, if its smut you're looking for then love celeb's a better choice. Take the smut out of Desire Climax and you're not left with much really.. just tonnes of angst, family problems that HELLO are out of this world, and a typical shoujo clueless heroine who can't realize when she's being hit on. And things just keep getting worse =P

Gah...I think I've forgotten who's related to whom with all the angsting going on. One minute she hates him, the next she loves him. Get real! Who acts like that? Not even children! Wish the storyline was a tad more realistic or convincing.
Wow this is pretty brutal. I stopped at who knows where, probably around v4 but it felt like v20.
So much repitition, useless plots, usless twists.
Useless smut. I didn't even think such a thing existed.
I'm a fan of innocent girls and sexy playboys, but the plot is just horrible.
Just absolutly horrible.
People ask me if i'd rather have art or plot, and I always reply art. And that's whats driven me to read this until the 4th volume, but you wanna shoot yourself after.
If you have the brain of a 12 year old, hooked on acid and hormones, knock yourself wild with this manga.
But for those of you slightly more mature, go look somewhere else.

omg, I on the other hand, really like this manga. i could careless about the smut, I just like the story line. I really like the name Mio b/c i just do. the art work is fabulous and what can i say, this manga is on my top list, for now. the only thing that annoy me is, Mio kept calling him "Prince".
