Description
There are some days when it'd be better to just stay in bed... so says Kazuma, an apprentice demon-hunter, on the day when he finds a strange creature in the forest. It's not a bloodthirsty monster, but a young half-human, half-dog girl. Just what type of creature is she? And why does Kazuma sees her at his school right after escaping from the encounter?

Although it's not perfect, it still has a lot of potential and the artwork is really nice. I agree with DustFox that the storyline needs a bit more work but let's not forget that the mangaka is new at this (his first serialization). From the looks of it, he's are starting to get a little better with every new chapter released. I have high expectations of this new mangaka. Go Neko Neko ^_^

A few fatal flaws

It's one of those mangas that they say is shounen but is written and drawn more like a shoujo manga. Not only that, the characters feel empty and they're way, way too illogical. I don't mind if the manga is f**ked up with all sorts of weird sh*t, but when it doesn't even adhere to its own settings properly, that's where I draw the line. He's too much of a wimp, I especially hate how he, despite his supposed strength and profession, doesn't fight back against females and lets them walk all over him, not even defending himself properly. That everyone feels flat, boring and empty doesn't make this flaw better.

I tried so hard to enjoy myself. This... is not entertainment. This is torture. Shear agony. "It might be funny!' no. it's not. dull story, duller characters, and the most god DAMNED annoying female lead. I like strong female leads; not repetitive, predictable and obnoxious strong female leads. it's fine if you like it. but it's cancer. this is a shoujo for guys. so, it's bad. remember when gearbox made battleborn. it was borderlands, but it wasn't. same as this.

Irritating

So I have a weapon and a license to use it, in fact I've killed with it before. Someone pulls a weapon on me threatening to kill me and I just sit there limp and unresponsive, like some mushy veggie that has been steamed for far too long. I'm a killer and I can only think to stare at this person as my life is being threatened (and that's just the tip of the iceberg).I am the main character.
I'm not sure what it is, the glaringly illogical character inconsistencies, the meandering slow story, or the fact that a female author is trying to depict a male lead as nothing but a nurtured (or is it spade, darn, I can never remember) socially awkward piece of lady eye-candy, in any case, I have never wanted to slap as hard or as many characters in a fictional work as I have with this manga, but hey, at least the art is fine...

Not what I expected - feels like a shoujo manga for some reason. It has a lack of consistincy in the art; underdeveloped plot; unrealistic character development. ( as of chapter 3 )

I'll keep poking at it in the future, but doubt that anything beyond ordinary will sprout out of this one.
