Description
The main protagonist is an Iga ninja named Saizou, who meets an Izumo priestess and protects her on her short journey to Sanada Yukimura. Sanada Yukimura is a powerful warlord in the Sengoku era. Sanada wants to gather 10 warriors, a party unrivaled in skill and power, to set his still secret plan into action.

A sexy take on the story of the Ten Heroes of Sanada. Within you shall find many a big-breasted woman and willowy bishounen (surely this manga will appeal to fans on both sides of the spectrum.) I'll admit, the characters aren't too deep and this is an adventure we've all been on before, but it's fast pace, detailed artwork and dynamic fight scenes were enough to keep me reading.

I was taken aback by the art. It was GORGEOUS. I mean, the girls all looked hot as hell, and also the guys.
I have to agree with the people below me; even though I love this manga, there are a few cliche scenes that we manga fans are ALL familiar with: the classical "WHY U NO PROTECT ME confused " and the "I CANT PROTECT HER confused ? ASDOIFJSOIDJ. I AM NOT A MAN." Had this been the first manga I ever read without discovering the true nature of cliche, then this wouldve gotten a 10/10.

Beautiful drawing ! not my favorite from this author, but it got potential, as it's quite funny sometimes. The drama can be kind of heavy sometimes and pathetic, so we just hava to hope it gets better on the laughing part wink

Plot: The entire story has a familiar setting of a lone leader, who is searching for 10 warriors to complete his quest. Loosely, based off historical Japan and myths.

Characters: No one was especially annoying or stood out to me from the chapters I've read so far. Isanami could be more assertive at times, but she's probably one of the more "ordinary" characters in Brave 10. Saizo is mostly a anti-hero type, who later begins to redeems himself. It should be familiar with anyone who likes to read shounen manga.

Art: Detailed character designs, but the manga-ka tends to draw male/female character's faces similar ._. Very RPG-ish with the different weapons and armors. Backgrounds are normal for the genre.

Overall: It's a relatively short series with 8 volumes and completed. So far, I felt that the story didn't really drag on the past 5 volumes. I wouldn't want to read a 20+ volume series with this plot, but it's a nice manga for anyone who likes decent action fights and variety of fighters on a quest theme.

I agree. The characters aren't deep enough to make me go wow and some parts of the manga are cliche. But I like it because it makes me laugh to some extent every now and then

I was looking for a Sengoku manga and the cover of this one seemed good. But it turned out to be very mediocre, in both art and story. Teenagers might like it, but I couldn't even get past chapter 1...
