I really liked the first couple of chapters and somehow thought it would end up being about the dangers on building society around "superior genes" and saving the girl from a corrupt government institution instead of the basic schoolkids battle shounen it is. Really should have been seinin with no silly powers whatsoever, but then it probably would have belonged in a different magazine. The most memorable thing about this manga is that it spawned the meme "U19 club", which any mediocre Shonen Jump manga can join so long as it gets axed in under 19 chapters.

The series was fun to read, this weird fighting, powers, love battle, evil witch, just a whole bunch of crazy with romance was fun even though it was not really a conclusion. Like they get together in the end but that is the end, you achieve a single goal and thats it. The bigger picture that is now shown after you achieve your personal goal and you just end it. Dont know if this was a japan thing where nobody wanted it because of a list of reasons OR if it had competitors. Still a good 17 chapter read to crank out in a hour or so if your bored.
