Well there goes my positive mood. This was such a depressing story even despite the ~happy ending~.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
In the end it wasn't really love that bound the two main characters together, it was other motives on both ends. On the one side, it's kindness, and on the other, validation. They're both looking for what they lack and crave for from the other, and that's what glued them to each other in the first place. That doesn't scream love to me.

I can see a real 'bright' future ahead of these ~lovebirds~ :/

I felt so sorry for this poor cinnamon roll that had to put up with all kinds of sexual and physical abuse both at home and at school. That part of the story felt so real and unfair, it really broke my heart. This oneshot left a bad taste in my mouth but that's not the mangaka's fault. The setting was just so dark, it completely negated the positive vibe of the final part of the story.
