Description
From Lovesick Alley:
Ito and Chiharu, though seven years apart, both share a very deep friendship in which Ito has an unrequited love for Chiharu. In a turn of events, Chiharu is inflicted with a terminal illness and is put into an induced comatose state in hopes that a cure will be developed while he is sleeping. After seven years, Chiharu wakes up, and finds that Ito is now the same age as him and in the same class.

spoilers aren't really my thing, but it's not as bad as yuritachikawa or hypercaster make it sound. sci-fi aspects aside it's formulaic shoujo, but there's enough interesting exploration of the particular melancholy of time passing from various perspectives to keep an interested reader going through the end.
This manga is best described as typical Shoujo manga with a guy sleeping for like 7years in a coma on ice.
The FMC is worthless coward the coma patient is dumb apathetic kind type who doesn't recognise love, the other guy in this trash triangle is coward who loves FMC with awkward face pain. It's not worth time to read this cringe. sry gotta put niddles in my eyes for reading this.

While the hibernating aspects are adressed as a major background of the main couple, it's not the driving force behind the plot. In the end it remains a typical shoujo romance with age difference, some love triangle and tales of friendship.
