i love this, so fun and good, but the ending kinda anti climax, he through all of that to meet his missing bestfriends just for that? still good tho
More could've been done to the story if it was longer.

It reminded me of Holyland (Bullied, depressed MC that was pushed to the brink of considering/attempting suicide but finds a place for themselves through fighting), however more gore-oriented and having too fast of a pace in such a short quantity of chapters, which I felt could've been better elaborated on. The ending was sweet though
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Kei(MC) and Akira(The guy that he had tried to commit suicide with) met up, but had since departed with him after Kei fought with his half-brother, Bunen. As Akira was leaving, Kei promises to Akira to see him again when he is strong enough. Flash forward, at the last panel of the story we see Kei as a licensed boxer

Finally finished this manga after postponing it so SRoMU can finish scanlating the series. Like my previous review which somehow been deleted, I wanted to say that my review was right.
With the manga being so short there are little character development between the protagonist and the other characters. The fighting is unrealistic since the protagonist can beat experienced fighters while he has been boxing for several weeks.
Overall the manga had potential but it was too short AND surprisingly I kind of liked the ending. I don't want to spoil anything so you have to read the manga. Anyways I wanted to thank SRoMU for scanlating this manga and I can finally put this manga on my completed list.

This is like a mediocre version of Holyland mixed with generic fighting manga. The protagonist eventually seems to fight better than he should and loses his 'Mad Dog' trait. The relationships are rushed. Really rushed. Perhaps that's not the right word as it seems he's reforming strong ties he had in the past [e.g. with his best friend and the nurse] but the relationships simply aren't...explained, i guess.
You can pass your time with this for a while. I pretty much didn't WANT to read the last volume of this, though. only did because...well, there was only one volume left >.>

I just wanted to say that the initial chapters were very engaging and interesting. The artwork is above average and the plot was unique. More or less, the story was cut short and the ending was too rushed. In addition to that, it created too much speculation on what happened as there was no concrete ending. The characters were fine but too short to develop them. Sad sad sad, would have given it a higher rating if the story actually went on for another 20 or so more chapters with better character development and a not-so rushed ending.
i am disappointed as well

The premise is interesting, and the first chapter really drew me in, but the more I read of it, the more unbelievable and superficial everything became. Whereas many really good fighting manga focus on the growth of the character--both mentally as well as physically--the protagonist of this manga just keeps on "lucking out" in every fight by mastering new moves like a genius and using them at just the right moment even though he's really never fought before and has been bullied his entire life.
The art, especially during fight scenes, is nice but sometimes the characters smirk way too much (it's like they are either angry or smirking--there's no normal facial expressions). However, I read fighting manga for the actual challenge-and-grow aspect where the protagonist isn't some sort of superhuman already, so I am very bored and disappointed with the pacing and storyline of this manga. Real moments for growth as a fighter are rushed if not skipped completely, and it really just boils down to one miraculous super-attack after another that this supposed amateur masters with almost zero practice.
If you just want to read something with lots of blood, fighting, and cool-looking victories, you may enjoy this, but if you like the plot and/or fighting to be a little more real, please check out many of the other better options out there. It's a shame because the concept is actually very intriguing.

Drawing style is so fascinating that i just spend minute or two to observe one page. Fights are trilling, like watching them live. Best read with rock music, that trembles you down to your heart.. I may consider to return to my karate lessons =)

Only 2 chapters out now... but shows some great potential. It seems to be similiar to Holyland but on a much gorier level...

absolutly entertaining, the mood in this manga is quite dark and the characters are acting sometime in contradition with their position..like the nurse..well read it and you will understand..
the battle are so well draw that you are dragged along the fight, and I must say that i was disapointed that is was canceled due to complains about to much realistic event and more so violent. Well anyway it sure is one good story..
