First volume was great. Second not so much but still good. Third was... yeah.

Don't get me wrong, it's still good. But it would have been better had had the mangaka not decided to throw a curveball in the form of random supernatural stuff happening startting the second volume. At least, I would have been far happier had it been introduced into the first volume and well developed in the plotline to make the ending a little bit more... believable. Instead, the mangaka throws the supernatural element in starting second volume making me wonder 'were the hell did this come from?'.

Summed up? It's cute, love the romance, love the characters (especially Yukiya's nephew!, who's cute as a button biggrin ). Definately worth a read. The ending kind of ruined it for me though. I guess it was meant to be 'happy', but to me it seemed to me like it was trying to slap a bandaid on to cover up huge random plotlines that were thrown in second volume. : / . I would have been far happier if there had been no supernatural stuff at all.

The first volume was great but later it became average.

I think it started quite original, mainly with the connection of Maiko and Haruka. And it was quite entertaining on how Maiko was trying to avoid Yukiya and how his son wanted her near. So when I finished the first volume, I was satisfied and I went to sleep.

The next day, I started reading the second volume. And,
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I felt bored of it. It was like random for the author to throw a second guy and then Maiko doing all of those things. It was obvious from the beginning that she was 'meant' for Yukiya but she kept thinking that he wanted only Haruka. And then, random time travel! Hey, this isn't Steins;Gate, but Maiko was able to transfer into the past or future so randomly, just because of thoughts. It did not make sense at all.

I felt that the final volume was rushed. The ending for example could have been better.

As for the characters, I didn't like anyone. Maiko was sometimes annoying but at least she wasn't totally helpless. (Like the heroines of Shinjo Mayu.)

Lastly, the artwork was nothing special.

This manga was very short and light hearted but it was slightly more entertaining than a very typical shoujo manga because of it's very funny and cute points. The male lead errs on the side of handsome - a little childish, unkempt, and observant - and his funny small gestures helped to keep the story interesting. The plot gets convoluted when the love triangles start (they're not very good) and the story was nothing epic, but it was cute in it's own way.

It started off pretty good, both in terms of plot and art. The plot was that of a typical shoujo. The art wasn't very detailed but the characters were well drawn. The main characters was not likable at all in my opinion. The second volume says it all. Her unfaithfulness was blamed on her insecurity, but still, it feels like her feelings for the main guy was extremely weak. It's almost like today I wanna marry this guy, tomorrow I'm getting back with my ex kinda feeling. It pisses me off. And the reconciliation was so unbelievably unbelievable. Then the whole time jumping thing in the third volume was like so out of nowhere, I mean, what the heck, it was like a whole different manga. The ending also could've been more grand.
It wasn't a bad manga. But i would rather read a cliche manga without this kind of drama.

Now that i reread the end of second volume and the beginning of third volume, I just want to decrease my rating for this manga, so frustrating. =.=

Like the have say before, to enjoy and to not get confuse you need to read the manga in one go, only 14 chapter. Is really cute but really unreal, just read this for a light read or if you are new in manga.
In the end you won't regret it because you know what you are going to get.
is a very good manga you need to enjoy it.

Well, this was an average shoujo manga. It has flaws, but can still entertain shoujo fans.

I didn't particularly like either Yukiya or Maiko. Especially Maiko, notably because of how she dealt with the love triangle with Yukiya and Shizuru. She did some pretty unfaithful things that shouldn't be excused with insecurity.

Worth a read I guess, but there are a lot of better shoujo mangas out there.

its ok. i guess if was really disappointing and it made me really angsty through the whole thing. the ending wasn't long enough and was also very disappointing for all that drama i expected a kick ass ending not that is was bad. but it certainly wasn't great. if you want to waste a lot of time then def read it. but i just feel that it was a bit of a waste.

The second time!

This is actually my second time reading this manga. I remember picking it up a couple years ago, reading the first chapter, and then forgetting about it. Now it's fully scanslated, and I'm glad I picked it up again. Despite being categorized as smut, Soryanaize Darling focuses more on how love always prevails. Cheesy, yes? But don't let that deter you.
The main character, Maiko, isn't the traditional shoujo heroine (although she does have some very shoujo-esque characteristics). Due to the 3-volume limit of the series, yes, she does fall in love rather quickly. But. The decisions she makes during the course of the manga show that her mind set is much more mature than the traditional shoujo heroine's. It's really hard to dislike her. Nagase's a hybrid of several stock characters. Nothing hugely significant about him (although he has quite a few more layers than the average shoujo hero). Shizuru (the alternate male lead) is quite lovable. Although you'll probably find yourself leaning towards Nagase-Maiko, you can't help but cheer for the valiant Shizuru. The supporting characters are fine. Nothing to get excited about, but they don't ruin the story either.
The plot of the manga is quite interesting. Traditional shoujo live-in situation with a time-traveling twist. I'm not going to lie, the time-traveling bit gets a little heavy near the end of the manga, but I can understand why the mangaka decided to use it. Most of the conflict in the plot stems from Nagase and Maiko's uncertainty about their relationship, and that was the main focus of the manga. For me, the best part of the manga was when Nagase, Maiko, and Touya were living as a makeshift family. Really a cute bit.
The art's nice. The setting's average. No real complaints as far as art goes. Maiko's overexaggerated chibi expressions are pretty great.
Overall, it's a nice, warm-your-heart, fluffy shoujo piece. It doesn't delve into any serious issues. It doesn't bring anything new to the table. But it's cute. Don't expect anything more, and you'll leave the manga with warm fuzzies.

This manga was really entertaining. The characters were good, the art was good and the idea was really interesting. (Though the first time I read it I didn't enjoy it as much)
There were some parts that I wish the mangaka hadn't put in there such as the part with Shizuru san or whatever his name is. I felt really sorry for him.
And the most disappointing thing was the abrupt end.
But it was a feel good manga so I recommend it biggrin

Loooved this manga. Sometimes the story comes and goes so many times that you need to stop for a while and think how things are happening because there is this "paranormal" factor that makes things a bit more complicated to understand.

I loved the art, one of my favourite main male characters... absolutely adorable, I found myself some days after I have read this drawing him in my notebooks during a specially boring class.

It's a pity that it is so short but it's absolutely worth reading. ^^
