Description
1) Present
This follows the main character through three periods of her life -- ages 13, 18, and 21. Aki leads a normal life. She has friends, a family who cares about her, and a talent for writing. There's nothing seemingly wrong with her life, or herself for that matter. But when the the start of a new school year leads her to be in the same class as Yoshiko, a classmate a year older than her who still carries with her noticeable scars from the horrific burns she suffered from a fire, she begins to discover the best and worst in herself.

The male MC from the second story was a fun one. My favorite of the bunch. Story 1 was also nice although I don't know if I like the female MC -- I think I like her in that she's real in all her feelings. She definitely grows up. Bonus: her bf in the second part of the story looks like an adult manga-version of Kenny from South Park at one point, lol.
I echo the confusion about the last story. There were about three ways I expected it to go...and it went confusingly down one of the expected paths but without any real elaboration/background. Suddenly, it was doing a lot in a little amount of pages. I didn't think the end was confusing, but I thought the point of the story was muddled and you're left kind of going "huh, that's...it?"

As I was reading I was left stunned, what was happening? It ended in such a confusing manner.
As for the rest of the stories, they were bittersweet, except for the second which was lighthearted, enough to change the mood of the preceding story. Very nice and a good break from the lighthearted shoujo's usually seen.
