Description
College-mates Shinobu Miura and Eiichi Tashiro have more going on between them than classes and studies -- close proximity and animal attraction can create strange bed fellows -- but they also have little-to-nothing in common. For starters, Shinobu seems rather embarrassed about the whole "doing it" thing, and wallows in denial over any true feelings he may have. Eiichi, on the other hand, is a reckless free spirit, quick to acknowledge his affections, and eager for a commitment.

When Eiichi accepts an offer to work overseas for an American photographer, will Shinobu realize too late that two opposites can make a perfect duo?

Story 1 worth reading at least
Rating: 9.0 / 10.0

My rating is for the first story. It was by far my favourite and the longest. It depicted the progression of a rather sweet couple who work hard at maintaining their relationship despite very different lifestyles. I would've preferred if the entire volume focused on their story alone.

The second story seemed entirely incomplete to me. Just when I think there might be a story developing, it ends. I ended up rather confused more than anything; not because it was particularly hard to understand what was happening, but rather too easy that it seemed like there was supposed to be something much more to the story than was given. The motivations, other than 'lust', for the main character are completely lost and don't get me started on his father. It seems like it's supposed to be as simple as taking everything he said at face value... but then none of his reactions seem remotely plausible if it were true.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The father gets assaulted by his supposed teenage son, gets turned on immediately, is frazzled by it in the morning, and then passes it off as nothing. Frankly, for someone who's raised their son and lived with them everyday of their life, this seems like such a foreign reaction to me that makes absolutely no sense in any context if his insistence that they're biological father and child and that he married his wife and is still very much in love with her is true. Oh, and there's the fact that it seemed like the mother is always coming home late from work (ie: classic signs of cheating on her part) and so I was confused why the father had a hickey. I actually thought he'd cheated on his wife but then the story ended... so I guess not? Neither father nor mother cheating on each other?

The third story seemed like a waste of space. It was very limited in story and characterization that I felt bored reading it.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Two students like each other..... the end.

3 stories
Rating: 5.0 / 10.0

The first is a little bit confusing at first (mostly the artwork), but once I figured it out, it was very enjoyable. It shows the progression, more or less, of a long-distance relationship over several years. The third story was also nice, though light without much substance.

"Secret", the second story, though, was very unsettling and I had to skip it after I realized the plot. It's about a teenager who is in love with his 15-years-older dad - and not just a stepdad or uncle-who-is-like-a-dad, but his biological father that he's grown up with in the paternal role. When the dad is asleep, the son actually kisses him, which is when I stopped reading. I had been hoping that it would resolve into a misplaced attraction and ultimately the boy would fall in love with a more suitable partner, but this is very much not the case. So, reader beware. (Also, it very much lowered my rating for the whole book.)

Middle story shocking

The first story set is a wonderful progression of a relationship between two young men. However, the second story (Secret) has a combination of disturbing events (avoiding spoilers here) that just doesn't seem to fit with the first story set. The last stories are entirely too short, but cute. I'd have rated this volume higher without the middle story.

I've read story 1, 2 and 9 and they were very short (the 2nd one was a bit longer but had an unsatisfying ending) so I felt like "huh? that's all? but.. what about..?"
