First story(chapters 1 to 3) is about the couple on the cover. Hiroto is a normal workingman who happened to be eating lunch in the park when a kid comes up to him and pretty much asks to be fed. (What happened to the rule "Don't eat stuff from strangers"?) He gets hired by the kids dad, he ends up falling for our little plot moppet and the good-looking father. Stuff happens, fluff happens, some sexy times, then more fluff. Made me smile, at least.
Second story(ch4-5) involves a very popular seme who bumps into our otaku-uke, causing the other's glasses to fall off and seme is enchanted. Classic meeting, nothing new, but I didn't really mind. I quite liked the seme's reaction which was humorous. I thought he was going to be the typical cold jerk who bullies the cute otaku-chan into sex. Well, there isn't much bullying but I liked that this author's semes are affectionate and none of the usual asshole-semes present here.

What does it tell about me and the manga I've read when I was pleasantly surprised that the seme didn't have his way with the uke right then and there? He actually asked the uke out.
Right after they meet, seme pulls uke away to a class room, jerks the uke off(uke-chan was pretty cute and his expressions were just hawt) and seme cums just from watching the smaller boy's expression which is a first for him.
He asks the uke out, no bullshitting around. Uke surprisingly doesn't give in or wimps out but rejects the other outright, stating he's only interested in 2D.
I liked the humor, and though we all know they're gonna end up together in a slightly predictable way, I still quite liked this. I liked that this was mostly done in the seme's POV and the seme himself is pretty adorable and incredibly sweet. Usually when the seme does the chasing, I usually get annoyed by the bundle of whiny-ness that is the uke. It doesn't happen here. I liked both the characters equally which is surprising for a manga of this caliber(wow, I sound full of myself).
Fluff, cosplay, sexy-times, fluffy sexy-times actually, loved the second chapter of this story.
Third story starts with Riku who has a twin sister, Miku, who plans to elope with an engaged man. Kazuya, the brother of the engaged guy mistakes Riku for Miku(he didn't know if his brother's lover was a female or male so he just assumed the uke was his brother's lover despite being male). He's kind of a lovable dude and has some jerk-ass moves up his sleeve, so, uh, yeah. Riku gets held in a fancy condo(of course) and decides to stay to give Miku her chance to leave. Sexy-times a-happening.
Sorry, I'm a sucker for angry/misunderstanding sex, so the sexy times were pretty hot. Heh. Hero-groveling is also one of my kinks. A bit hero-groveling, a dash of possessiveness, and sweet fluff. This left me all smiles.
This manga gave me a good laugh with it's quirky jokes and characters. ahaha, don't eat sausage in bed xD The art was good but the storyline was lacking in development and went by too quick, but overall i enjoyed it.
First off, I LOVE the son! I wanted to hug him so bad! And when he cried, I was near tears myself! He's just too cute! And I usually hate kids in manga... Not this one!
I love the idea. And pilots are sexy. I wanted to smash the pilot's brother's face in at one point (if you read it, you'll know which point). The art was very clean and pretty nice. Not exceptional, but not hard on the eyes.
Downsides were that there wasn't much (if any) character development. It kind of happened in steps without much transition. It wasn't bad, it just could've been better.
I didn't care for this much. The art is decent, but that was pretty much it. The stories are rushed and pretty much all based around completely avoidable things(as in you would have to be deaf or perhaps your mother did a *lot* of drugs while pregnant in order to have these kinds of misunderstandings) or just throwing normal story development to the wind and jumping to the next convenient step. Sometimes this is ok if a story is really funny, but none of these were all that funny(the whole sausage joke got old fast). So overall, these didn't offer much. I bought it because I'm a sucker for nuclear family based stories, but it wasn't really like that.
I laughed so hard XD Eating Sausages in bed... i almost peed myself, awesome excuse and yet not a lie *snicker* yes i am an easily amused child at heart. Anyway, this is a great collection of one shots. Absolutely addictive, hilarious, fun and exceedingly well drawn. I was really happy reading all the stories in this. And im glad i downloaded it, i almost gave up looking for the series after finding out it was licensed, and then downloading two copies which both ended up being in spanish XD but i finally found the english version. I wish this were for sale locally... its one of those collections i'd like to have at hand.
CJM has a lot of great qualities... and although she writes/draws a lot of smut, it's her fluff that really "draws" me in. This title (as well as the accompanying oneshot, to a lesser degree) is fluff at its best. The kid, Mamoru, is just tooooo cute! But, then, that's what CJM is truly the best at: kids' happy and bittersweet facial expressions.
gouchisousama: i don't expect any depth from CJ michalski, and there is no depth here, of course. it's a just a fluffy little romp with a cute child thrown in. potential angst is provided, but resolved so quickly that my emotions didn't even have a chance to feel it. compared to some work of hers i've read in the past there is no rape here (though she did have to throw in some rough sex), and the uke doesn't look underage; yay.
sonna kimi na suki has as little depth, but is less predictable; i enjoyed the twist at the end.
moshi mikawari no koi demo has even less depth, and isn't funny; basically forgettable (and here's your rape for the volume, though it could be worse).
the art, as always, is clean, cute, and occasionally inspired -- oh, how i wish she could tell a story with substance; i'd just love it.
This was a fun little feel-good one shot. It had great tension and pacing for a predictable story. The father was a bit obnoxious because he was a womanizer, so it didn't make his love for Hiroto seem believable, but it was still fun to read, especially if you like stories where a small child adds an element of cuteness and innocence to the entire world of the text and illustration.
Usual cinderella-dream-like story with prince-like rich hadsome dad with puppy-cute little child who suddenly hires the normal but dedicated part-timer as a live-in housekeeper.
Nothing new then: but it so ironic and funny you will fall in love with it.
It is exaggerated on purpose, the guy is just "perfect" on purpose ("he's 120% handsomness and when he wears his work suit it goes up by 30%!" and the irony makes it great.
In fact, on page 18, when Mamoru's shirt reads "Mad Chihuahua", you'll think this is the best oneshot you've ever read!
ps. the love scene is surprisingly hot for such a light hearted oneshot.
I'm impressed with CJ Michalski's works so far. I just read Ginyuushijin no Koi yesterday and i really like it so i check her other works. Her stories are not you're typical yaoi stories, it's weird but that makes it unique and great. Anyways this story is just so funny mostly the ending LOL.
