I decided to give this manga a go, despite the low rating, because I was looking for something cheesy. It's nothing groundbreaking,but, it has good art, good plot and good characters. I especially love Hayato. He respects Takiko and her morals. He is serious about her and tried so hard to convince her grandparents. I also have had a longstanding affection for dogs. That was certainly a plus for me.

Artwork feels dated, nothing memorable. Story seemed interesting in the beginning, then the secondary characters became too cliched and the pace nonsensical. Overall, I found this a mediocre romance and the smut is very clinical, nothing to make your heart race.
