i can only give this an 9, id like to give it a 10 cause it was fantastic but towards the end they took it a bit far with the whole repeating, time dimension and clone stuff. also although it was a good ending, i still didnt quite like it, if i hadnt of read the epilogue then id of given it a 10, cause the ending would of been just right.

Really nice mange and if you read it in one go the story makes a lot more sense, to the extend you can understand CLAMP stories.
But the big problem in this manga is after all the clones, clones of clones, time and dimension travelling bending the laws of logic... it was absolutely unimportant what happened.
Somebody died, no problem just alter the whole universe, everything that happened lost it's meaning. Because there wasn't anything certain and CLAMP could literally do whatever they want with the characters, the universe... basically everything, without any consideration of coherence.
But it is a nice CLAMP manga with interesting characters and an satisfying ending (very rare for CLAMP)

I haven't finished the series yet so my opinion may change.

Thus far, however, this has been the best manga I have ever read. I love all the characters; even the bad guys because they have believable, human characterization. The story is very touching and quite sad, but at the same time constant humor is found. All the fantasy elements are intriguing and creative.
To top that all off: the art is just AMAZING.

I just love love love it.

TOO MUCH CLONES!

Spoiler (highlight to view)
Well, things were VERY interesting when we found out that the Syaoran who's been traveling with his friends was a clone ALL THIS TIME... After the clone Syaoran leaves, the real one's traveling with them. To make matters worse, I don't know if it's right, but the Sakura traveling with them was a frickin' clone too. Okay...so what happened to the REAL Sakura this time ??? Then it starts to get really confusing because it's not about the feathers anymore. It's more ONE BIG DIFFERENT ARC with awesome actions on their adventures but...they still get the feather reward at the end of the arc... Eh.

Honestly, I was expecting more from the ending. The revelations weren't exactly earth-shattering as they were expecting it to be. They were just too damn confusing.

Pros: Good enough read, not too long (don't let the number 28 fool you, most chapters are merely 19 pages or so), gets a bit more interesting and deeper after the halfway mark (i.e. it isn't just your average ooh-lets-go-collect-feathers manga), the way some things done in xxxHolic have consequences here, art, Kurogane and Fay bigrazz

Cons: Just when it gets interesting and deeper, it also gets confusing. The problem with CLAMP is that they have forethought their story and dropped lines left and right (but people like me just didn't get it) and threw in some time-travelling mumbo-jumbo which did explain stuff but still...

That's just what it becomes by the end of it, good enough.

Ok, finished it. And -wow- what a GREAT series! I would have liked to see more different worlds but it was still amazing. I honestly like conclusion-- its very open ended. The only negatives were the depressed stages and chaotic art that appeared towards the end. It actually wasn't that confusing to me... but maybe thats because I read xxxHolic before reading this. Either way, it is amazing.

CLAMP has been my favorite anime/manga creators for ten years now, and when I discovered this manga this year, it was for me as a follow up on Tokyo Babylon (an earlier CLAMP work). It didn't fail to disappoint, and Tokyo Babylon took a faaar back seat to the rest of the storyline. Fai in particular is an amazing character, and his relationship with Kurogane kept me laughing throughout the story. I'm only on volume 14, but I can't wait to finish it!

The Good:
The art of course is wonderful as to expect of any Clamp manga. The story twisted and turned still Clamp's signiture as well. I felt this manga held my intrest at first it was bright(not to over the top happy fluffy) to dark and acidy the mood matching the atmosphere. I felt that the characters background where layouted out perfectly so that you understood where each character came from.

The Bad:
As with any Clamp hard to understand and follow at some points. I felt that the ending was rushed and could have been longer or better plotted out compared to how well the rest was thought out.

Overall:
This manga has plenty of action of action lovers. A good bit of romance. I would recommend to any regulars in manga as an intresting manga worth time.

CLAMP's masterpiece

Without a doubt in my opinion this is CLAMP's greatest work, though xxxHOLiC is yet to end. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles is simply amazing, especially when it gets darker from the Acid Tokyo arc onwards. I like it before that too but afterwards it it gets simply amazing. The revelations and twists in the plot are totally unexpected and everything turns out in a both rediculous and ordered way. The complex relationships and the character development are extraordinary. I won't spoil anything from the contents though I'm sure pretty much everyone that reads this comment already has read the manga too.
You should have some background reading other CLAMP manga or waching animes based on clamp manga to get more of the story. Especially "Card Captor Sakura" and "X"
