Yeah! I am so glad that the next chapter came out! It's so great!!! hehe now I get to get my Vampire fix for the week. *giggle* this manga is really awesome, the art work is amazing, and seriously the characters are to die for. READ IT!

the story is starting to drag. if reading by volumes, i would suggest reading the first 5 volumes then take a break. I got really annoyed towards the more recent chapters as story development is poor and it seems as though the mangaka has hit artist's block.

I really really liked this manga, but somehow it has gotten so confusing. So many characters, names and all kind of things. It started out great and I could totally understand it, but now it's just so messy.
Sometimes when I read it I'm like: "huh? who is that?" or "i so don't get any of that"
It's was way better when .

but read it anyways! It is still a great manga and I do think it's very original.. Atleast in the beginning it was.

I love this but this is not the best work ever.
The art is good, the story is okay, though I really cannot say it is the best, since I guess most of the plots correct right in the beginning. Still, you can fell in love with a character or two. For those who have read LOADS of manga, the plot may not satisfy you but the characters are really attractive, I must say.

sometimes I hate vampire knight, but sometimes i love it too. I love it because of its dark story (because I like dark stories). I also like it because it's not just a typical shoujo manga.
I don't like it because there's just too many questions/problems that make the manga confusing.
but then again, whether one like or hate vk, it just depends on their taste
and as for the art, I don't have problem with it. I can clearly distinguish the characters, and I'm wearing glasses.

I usually hate vampire stories since there's so many of them and they have the SAME plotline. But VK is one of my favorite mangas. Beautiful art, and the story's got a dark taste, without getting too gory or depressing. The plot's original too and there's actually structure in it. Like, you get the feeling something's big going on as you read, and each chapter builds upon each other.

The best part's the romance! >.< Yeah there's a love triangle but it actually doesn't get annoying. I love the minor pairings and the minor characters even more though. Some scenes just make you swoon and sigh "It's so romantic!" LOL.

Vampire Knight was one of my favorite series. First volumes (to 6) were really amazing, brilliant and I loved them! But now... New chapters lost their magical aura. The story is going on beacuse it have to... And even if I'm still reading it, it's just because I'm finishing everything what I begun. It's sad, though... It was really great manga. So... I'm waiting for new Hino Matsuri serie . ( haha I love MeruPuri xD )

VK is dying. Seriously. What happened to all the catchyness of it in the beginning? Yeah, the art's nice but the plot is one big tangled mess. The author's basically adding in twists for the sake of it. It doesn't make sense at all.

Well, I'd reccomend this...for people who go for art over plot.

Oh and yeah, this is total bishie fanservice.

I'm torn between liking this and disliking it. It's love/hate really and it all depends on what you like.

What I like is the different take on vampires and how it starts. How it carries on though is slow and some twists won't appeal to people. One twist didn't bother me but might bother other people.

The art is beautiful, yes, but I was hoping for more action. When you think of vampires, you think there will be a lot of that. Instead, there's emotional areas. Zero constantly annoyed me and even Kaname gets confusing as well. Maybe that's just how it was translated but I feel like another half is missing. Corny, I know.

Largo,you said it man!I totally agree with you!I just can't explain why people like this manga so much when it is nothing,absolutely nothing special.It's sometimes quite boring and something really important is missing. I keep reading the new chapters (I did a skip from volume 2 to 7 and I catched with the plot in an instant! WTF?) only because it's Hino Matsuri.But she disappointed me a lot this time!
