Yuki Cross has no memory of her past prior to the moment she was saved from a vampire attack ten years ago. To be honest, I like the second arc. A lot.
Things got revealed - but yet, there are more secrets hidden in the twilight, having the mangaka giving a piece after a piece... I am also comfortable with the changed drawing style - since it's not that much shojo-fluff as it was in the first arc. (Maybe I am getting too old.
)
Complaining about angsty and depressing, boring things - nope. The plot gets a bit slowed, but on the other hand it is a bit more psychological inbetween - until it gets faster again with another "enemy" showing up.
So for me it's the same with the first arc. Nice and lovely things to see, having someone acting from the background, Zeros twisted personality, Yuukis insecureties, Kanames intentions. Sweet and dark.
Since I like a slightly dark atmosphere, twisted characters, the whole-trust-betrayal-topic and guessing what Kaname is up to... I keep on reading. And reading.

Yuki turned into vampire by Kaname. worst at all, She is originally a vampire to begin with, not even a human. not that I care but it would be better if it was human and vampire love relationship.
now, what really make me sad and frustrated is Yuki is not like her usual self anymore, being gloomy, dark, serious about her duty and at certain point, her best friend, Sayori/Yori seems to be forgotten. it was Yori who always look for Yuki, even knowing the danger. I like the friendship portrayed by Yori to Yuki. but I might stop read VK now and look to another one that less dark.

I admit I couldn't help but sympathize with some of the comments already written but I think most of that is because the story isn't predictable any longer nor has it become your cliche vampire romance. Yes it's a little slow but I still believe there is an interesting twist regarding Yuuki, Kaname and Zero yet to come. So read it and just be patient. There is still more that can happen between the three and I hope it doesn't end anytime soon.

This is so frustrating. The story was alright at first, with the day and night class and stuff like that. Yuuki was such a fun character in the beginning together with Zero, and then Hino sensei had to turn her into a vampire. Fine. Then Kaname started becoming more and more like a jerk, with his shallow personality, while Zero became more and more immature. Why can't he accept Yuuki already and just get on with it?! Then, Kaname had to spoil everything again by killing Aidou's father, and disappeared, without telling Yuuki why, and this just shows how selfish he is. And sometime Kaname acts like an old man while Zero acts like a child all the time. But, I'm still looking forward to the next chapter of VK, as always, because Kaname is such a hottie! Yuuki is also very beautiful, and the quality of artwork has not declined at all (in my opinion). Anyway, I hope VK will end soon, and hopefully with a good ending, as this manga has dragged on for far too long. ^_^
Different up until it got all messed up and confusing. I'm such a sucker for really good art,so I decided to try this...moreover,with the vampire hype going around sometime ago,this really caught onto me. But VK had been a BIG letdown; far from what it used to be,thrilling and deeply mysterious. The characters started off well, and the plot thickened as the chapter progressed. Romantic relationships between the trio were even the most exciting. Time skip and Yuuki starts to become a wee bit too serious and self-absorbed about her own duties and blah. She actually turned out more annoying as she

lets see at first it was really boring for me so I decided not to read it now but when my mum bought me the books I suddenly read it and I couldn't stop reading it but when Kaname and Yuki left school it was LOLOLOLOLOL.Yuki and Kaname kept ____ and ________ stuff. I WAS LIKE WHAT! : O yuki omg you changed alot.I want Yuki and Zero to be together but Kaname is always there WTH is wrong with him!

This used to be my all-time manga before.
But I don't know what happeneed, its like everything after rido just got all confused and stupid.
Before this was the best manga ever. Personally I think the charector slowed down, and she tried to make new charectors, with little development.
THE WORST CHANGE, was changing her drawing style, before she used to pay attention to the details, but now she doesn't even put the pupil in the eyes.
Personally I wouldn't recommended it anymore, because the farther you go the worser it gets.

This was the first manga I fell in love with. I used to wait for this to come out such was my devotion to VK.
Then it started gettint worse and worse to the point that I totally stopped reading it. Came back just to read the 20 or so chapters I missed till the last one. Wish I didn't actually. Nothing makes much sense anymore and it seems really dragged to exhaustion. And the end is ridiculous. I feel it's a waste that she chose to do things this way.
Used to consider this my favorite manga ever, not anymore, not even close. And it's a shame.

The plot used to be good but after they left the school, it got so boring I couldn't stand it.
Somehow it's dragging on and on and on and on and on and on... And the story now is just 'bleh' I don't even bother with it anymore.
Characters are flat.
Hopefully it gets better for the readers who'll continue reading this manga.

After Yuuki turned into a vampire, everything went downhill. She lost whatever it is that made her likable. Zero lost his appeal. And Kaname...I don't want to get started with him. They became extremely annoying.
Hopefully it gets better for the readers who'll continue reading this manga.

This series was a solid 9 in the first arc. But since then, it went downhill. Characters are erratic and regressed. You wouldn't miss much, since there wasn't much plot movement, since Hino seems to focus on sugar coated romance scenes. The art is also not as good, kinda "lazy" drawing.
