This manga was confusing. It was a nice read but I don't know why so much high ratings. It's probably VK fans.
The plot was confusing. Just when I understood something something new would pop-up which iritated me. It was full of cliches *Pukes*. Anyway the plot was alright but it needed a solid story line in my and others opinion. The ending was just weird and was not as good some parts in the whole manga. The characters were alright. I find the main lead interesting. Suzuka was your typical lead which bored me. Art was nice and was different from her usual works.
Nice light read but the main issue for me was that it needed a solid plot.
Well thought out story. Nice and neatly packed with a few side story elements to allow it to last longer. Other then that its probably my fav short romance manga (less then 50chp / not ongoing)... non ecchi =P
I liked the light-heartedness and humor of the first volume, but the following volumes just seemed like rehashes. The story itself got a bit more intriguing in the final (fifth) volume, but by that point, I didn't really care too much for the characters or the manga itself... So it was kind of a case of "Too little, too late." So I'd say this manga offers a strong beginning and a strong end... but the three volumes in between seem scattered and unfocused.
Still, I'd recommend it for Matsuri Hino fans, because it's certainly not bad... and it's always fun to see a mangaka's earlier work. Those who are just shoujo fans might want to leave this one alone.
actually, i do like this manga despite of the negative reviews. this doesn't have any deep plot so it's just lighthearted and the characters are so cute. ^_^ the heroine kinda reminds me of Mizuki of Hana Kimi for some reason, i don't know why.
The ending to this is just... blah. Like, there's no warning, no decent conclusion or reader satisfaction (you know... that really fuzzy feeling you get after finishing something, or maybe that's just me). It just happens, and it ends weirdly too.

And the curse isn't even fixed, like, what was the point?
I've read volume 1. I'll be honest, I thought the plot was mindnumbingly stupid. I didn't think the art was as polished as Hino's later works either. Needless to say, I didn't like it and I won't be reading any further.
Not the greatest plot in the world - but still quite entertaining and there are some very funny moments. Read it if you want something cute and funny that doesn't require thinking to enjoy
The art is beautiful and the premise seems interesting, but after the first volumes, you'd realize the besides the funny male character, everything else is pretty dry and boring (none of the other characters seem to have any personality). As others have said, there isn't any plot and there is also no character development. The scenes just seem to float into space. Hino Matsuri's other manga are better-especially Vampire Knight.
Very first chapter is the reason I HATE SHOUJO'S..ugh...Im tired of the *thump thump* moments. Romance is supposed to give you a weird feeling inside...But to me, when I see the typical shoujo blush, I get constipated.
This manga is for the idealistic romantic saps. I have to agree with stubbly that it lacks a solid plot. A lot of the scenes feel very much like cliche shoujo. After one volume, I couldn't take it anymore and dropped the series.
