Description
From Tokyopop: Renji is one of God's most powerful but overly violent angels. As punishment for going too far in the last battle against the demons, Renji is sent to Earth, where he must save 10,000 souls. Only then will he be allowed to return to heaven!
Overall it was alright.. But I'm not to sure about the ending... I was like it didn't really end o-o and what about those devils.. omg I don't like this ending T-T
This manga was pretty boring. I took two of the volumes out and I thought it was like a neverending series then later i realize the mangaka ended at volume two. :S
It's good to read, but its ending is not very good. It makes me feel like "what... it's over? This is it?" It's sort like the manga is being cancelled and mangaka was forced to end it, leaving so many things that haven't explored fully. That's how I feel like about Soul Rescue's ending. If it didn't end like that, I would give it higher rating. The art is good, and everything looks good. Only problem is the ending. (No, it's not very bad ending, but still...)
Really bad ending. Maybe the series was ended abruptly, I don't know. But after reading this and Akusaga I think Kanno Aya have some problem in making a satisfying conclusion to a story
I really like Kanno Aya's work. Great art, nice sense of humour, interesting characters... etc. Soul rescue is no different.
... my own problem is, like everyone else, with the ending. There's a distinct feeling of 'what? That's it?' It stopped in the middle of nowhere! At the end of another chapter just like any of the others! How the heck is that 'ended'?
Nevertheless, I liked it overall. It feels like it's on indefinite hiatus rather than 'complete', but given that, it's a great read.
I loved the idea, though the image for heaven was a bit... unique. But my issue was the ending. It either needs a sequel or has to continue, there shouldn't be a two-way about it. I HATE it when a manga gets axed or rushed and leaves the ending so unsatisfying. Made me mad... otherwise my rating would've been higher by at least 1 rating, depending on how they ended it (if the story doesn't die) but the way it is now leaves a lot of room for improvement/change.
only 2 volumes... actually i wont even call it 2 vols. since the 2nd vol was 2/3 story and 1/3 side story the side story was okayy. but the main story itself failed. i wouldnt even say the story had an ending. introduces all these plans for the 2 main characters renji and kaito but never develops. okay art i guess.... i wouldnt waste my time reading this >_> 4/10 becuz i liked the side story
