Really good. Reminds of Blue Heaven or Jirashin. Art is dark and sketchy and the story sends a shiver down the spine. Good read

Well, I finally read this one. And all in one sitting too.

I'm just amazed. The main character is just this really surprising person. Every chapter that happens, I get a different impression of him. He's fearful. He's angry. He's not vicious. He's violent. And most of all, he's really really guilty.

The whole thing's just really surprising. There's all these loose little tidbits in the whole thing, but for once, the small details don't matter. It's what Yashiro does---his every action---that turns out to be the most important point to this story.

Beautifully Morbid

It's a pretty fast story of human's hate and how strong our will actually is. But I do like the supernatural part too. It's somewhat symbolic of the dark intentions of humans, and how this "evil" will be kept living as long as their are murderers and criminals. A human's will is powerful enough to determine how we can die and how we may renounce the evil that we supposedly harbor.

Quite nice for the length

At just one volume it makes sure not to overstay its' welcome. It gives you a simple, but well delivered story and then exits stage left. There's not a lot of real substance or depth to this, but it is interesting enough so I recommend it.

A dark story with some bizarre twists. The story provides a real sense of tension, and will make you wonder what's coming next. It made me think about the importance of freedom, and the power of human will. The situation the main character finds himself in is fairly unique, though the conclusion he arrives at isn't hard to predict. In the end, I felt satisfied. Recommended for fans of horror, action, and sci-fi.

This manga was Excellent. A Superbly done Psychological/Horror mix. One of the best, actually, for all its size. A must read for everyone who likes Psychological/Horror.

I wasn't satisfied with the ending, though, and that is why I gave it a 9.5.

What else?

What else to say when everything has already been said? It goes up to the line of psychological darkness and horror, without crossing it and making it something unbearable. It's just enough, along with the eye pleasing art work. It was a nice simple read, and like others have said, it stays just long enough to make a point. It's not too deep, and the main character is one that is fit for such a story.

I also recommend it!

I love this manga! Half a decade after I've left the anime/manga scene almost entirely, and I still like to go back and read this. Storyline is dark without feeling "over-the-top" or angsty, art is very good, and altogether it's just an enjoyable read!

Personally, this manga has become the standard to which I hold other Psychological, Horror, and/or Supernatural comics.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a good story- even if they don't particularly like most manga.

It was an excellent choice and i recomend it to anybody who likes Supernatural or Slice of life. I loved the style of the manga, very dark until he reaches the light ^_^

So much symbolism that you could probably find 1 million different meanings

I have been reading most of Takashi Tsutomu works and they share the common theme about the world and their intentions of evil in the world. Great read, great art and great message.
