From Yen Press:

A Japanese cell phone game called Rabbit Doubt has gone viral in Tokyo. In it, players are rabbits who must do everything in their power to uncover the wolf in rabbit’s clothing before it kills them off. The wolf, a randomly selected player, must use his wiles to create mistrust among the rabbits and knock his adversaries off one by one. When five fans of this game decide to meet offline for fun, the last thing they expect is to lose consciousness and wake up trapped in an abandoned building with a corpse strung up in front of them, a mysterious barcode tattooed on each of their bodies. Will the virtual friends be able to pull it together in the real world and figure out what’s going on in time to avoid ending up the wolf’s dinner?

Psych 101 ought to be mandatory

Oh great, yet another convoluted story that will use hypnosis as a cop-out. One doesn't have to be genre-savvy to instantly spot the killer nor to tear apart the paper-thin plot. The rabbit imagery is quite nice, and I've always liked the idea of a story based off the card game "Mafia" however the rest of the series is marred by stale scares and bad writing. I would also like to ask writers to stop using hypnosis as a panacea for lack of explained character motivation and in general, a plot device. It isn't magic. Read this for cheap-thrills but you'll probably find yourself rather bored and frustrated at the end instead.

Any manga reader would be interested in this once he/she sees the cover page reads the intro. It was just awesome the artwork, blending of colors, shading, background; it was just so brilliant, you might get to thinking this will be your best read yet.

The first volume was really interesting. Slasher-type mangas are pretty rare; the main obstacle is fear and in some cases, each other. And you guessed it, by the end obviously the group decreases to just the main character and the wolf.

But the by the second and third volumes I decided that I wouldn't really classify this manga as psychological. Why? It's not at all empathetic! You wouldn't give a damn what happens to the characters because the later half of the manga, everything was completely visual. Dark spaces could have at least been filled by illustrated thoughts of the characters or balloons at least but there wasn't any! You could breeze through an entire chapter in a minute or less without worrying your might miss something vital in the story! The climax was extremely predictable and it could have ended there but then the author decides to go sci-fi. I appreciate the author doing his homework researching and all but it just didn't fit the theme of the manga!

See not including the last chapters, there are endless possibilities to how the manga could have continued; possibly more into the mystery side of things if. I thought after the incident the remaining characters decide to go after the mastermind only to discover some bigger authority behind the killings or other stuff like that...

From absolutely brilliant this manga turned into complete mediocre...

Art: 9
Story/Plot: 7 before ending. -6 for ending! = 1 (Meh...)
Replay Value: 1 (Not in a million years...)

This manga should have been great, but it's not. The story is great but the execusion is lacking, it have a lot of plot hole, a lot of cliché and the ending is bad. I could figure who was the wolf at the moment the "game" start.
Note to mangaka who want to do suspense

Never make the first person killed the murderer, it have been made a hundred times and it is not a good plot twist.

Doubt has some flaws... namely, the ending could do with being 2 chapters instead of 4, and the ending is one of those love it or hate it endings (I liked it), but I enjoyed from start to finish and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good, tense, mystery.

If you're reading these reviews and start to see complaints about "this or that is too obvious", take a check at the date of the review. See, as we were translating this, we caught up to the monthly chapters at around chapter 12, which means that everyone who was reading this as the chapters were released waited a full month inbetween every chapter, giving them 30 days to figure out what was going on instead of the usual 30 seconds. When you read something like this with so many long breaks, the tension is pretty much removed and you lose a lot of the surprise and revelations. It's kinda funny, because you can tell who read it in one sitting start to end and who was reading in installments just from reading the comments.

The first 2 volumes were quite suspenseful, though the characters where dry and it was hard to care when they died, but it just went off the deep end after the 3rd volume began. The plot twists were so cliche and it was just plain out bad. Sad, because they could have made it a lot better if they didn't resort to cheap tricks.

That was completely underwhelming. It started off well but quickly became very stupid. First off, if the mystery of the plot is going to be so weak, don't make the ending a cliffhanger! I don't even care about the cliffhanger anymore--I'm just glad it's over.
From Awesome Potential to Complete Mediocrity.
The art was good though.

I agree with the others who have said the start was good but the ending was disappointing. The ending dragged on way too long and became overly melodramatic instead of suspenseful. It's okay for a cheap thrill, but don't expect much from this other than pretty art.

I also just wanted to add that I actually read this in two sittings, and did not leave myself a lot of time to ponder who the wolf was, and yet the ending was still a drag. One entire chapter was an exposition that sounded like "wolf tactics for dummies", and the other chapter had the cheesiest line about a

The beginning was so awesome filled with suspence and i read through the entire manga in one sitting. But the ending kinda ruined it all. Also, the plot had some major holes in it. *spoiler* for example when mitsuki was killing eiji she was suppose to be locked in the bathroom. and when yuu and hajime went to get hte cellphone from eiji's room, she was behind hte door. and as soon as they got the cellphone and the key on eiji's hand, they unlocked the bathroom to let mitsuki out. but how did mitsuki get back in the bathroom so damn quickly and without yuu and hajime knowing? was it hynotism?
It's a great read for when you are alone at night and want to read something before bed.
but dont get mad at the shitty ending

The manga was, generally, a very stupid one. The initial plotline was interesting, but as someone stated previously, it was clear that in the end, the killer would be totally random-like. There was absolutely no closure in that ending at all. There is zero re-read value in that.
