Yep it was. It got the point across of Lavi's greatest (?) fear without it being verbose. It also showed how much Lavi is/could be? suffering internally without going into angst overdrive. Which actually makes it all the more sadder (and paints Lavi as a tragic figure - I at least view him this way).
A short but sweet dj about D.Gray-man characters Lavi and Bookman where they talk about Lavi's fears and hopes regarding his inheritance. Nothing groundbreaking but a nice little read.
