I love it so much. The art is great. I just like the pairings as well as all the characters (esp. Ryuu-sama!) This is probably the best shoujo manga I've read to date! Deserved a 10/10

Well i love the storyline!!<though a bit bit simple at the same time its also very complex (behind the scenes of course ^_-) i Love the author's writing style!! the characters personalitlies are really fresh (GO Hikaru) (Kei is hott!) and romance is soooooo Kawaii!!! buttttttt for some reason i cant seem to remember what happens when i read it ~_~ hmmm i keep ending up re-reading it like 50 times ~_~ maybe im just an idiot T^T but i always pretty much remember the stuff that happened in other mangas nooooooooooo......... time to re-read it............again ~_~"
hmmmm i dont see any similarties to kare kano i read the manga and watched the Anime series but its more serious i think special a kinda gives off the "Everyone's crazy so wth!" kinda feeling XD kare kano has more drama!

This manga is pretty interesting and funny so far. I like where the story is going and the art style is good too. The character's personalities are well brought out which is always a plus as well.

i read this manga and i LUV it!!!it's seriously cute and SERIOUSLY FUNNY x]!!!even the characters are lovable!and the heroine doesnt pisses me off and^ ^

The girl is annoying after some chapters with her nonsense about beating the main character. The main character, of course, loves the attention because he likes her hence he teases her. She contines to want to beat him but he is always one step ahead. Imagine that through ten volumes... boring and the art isn't that great.

The last chapter didn't feel like an ending, I was expecting more, It was a happy ending, but WTH, that's it?! IM GIVING THE LAST CHAPTER A 2/10.

But overall, I still love the manga, a lot got annoyed of Hikari's denseness but that's an added charm. It still a heart warming manga that I'm definitely going to miss <3

this manga makes me remember the story of Kare Kano. i guess you can easily find the similarity between these two mangas since it revolves with a smart girl and a smarter guy... the competition begins with who's smarter than who and in the end both are gonna fall in love with each other.. *sigh* but other than that its really cute. you can actually see the love progress between the two. Kei, the main guy, is very transparent in terms of expressing his feelings for Hikari which makes the story even sweeter... and here is our heroine who still doesn't realize Kei's feelings until vol 4... LOL.. but its really a good manga to see if you're looking for more to read

i think this is a very cute manga.. and it has a nice story line to it.. and the drawing is also very nice.. a very good read

Absolutely LOVE it. It's a total 10 for this. I like how all the characters are drawn out and very good plot.

Special A deserves a 10/10. It's not your typical kind of romance/shoujo, it has humor, good balance and an excellent plot. It has great art, and the author's characterization is fantastic. Every chapter released keeps me eagerly waiting for more. Much appreciation and thanks goes to the groups who scans and translates Special A for us
