I'm always amazed by Yamamura Hajime's creativity in conjuring this kind of fiction. Given a not so deep setting, probably you'll understand most of the A-NEST business after some reading, but the main plot is the struggle of some men chasing after their dream. It's got many elements: love interests, family affair, a little bit of politics, some aliens, but unfortunately, they don't create that much impression. Art is clean, just like other Yamamura's works. If you don't mind such non-epic story, do give it a try.
