Description
From CMX: Self-styled Kogal queen Kotobuki Ran and her friends just wanna have fun, which includes shopping, hanging out, and scamming meals off gullible guys. Unfortunately, their "hood"—Shibuya—is in constant danger of being despoiled by dirty old men, street gangs, nasty Kogal rivals, and other societal evils. But with a little help from her friends and a toughness born of coming from a family full of cops, Ran takes on the bad guys (and gals) with gusto!
I like Ran, she's cool. Pretty good shoujo manga. I wouldn't really consider this a romance manga. There's more romance in the side couples than the main one. I don't like Ran's goofball boyfriend. I wish "#2" was her boyfriend instead. I was sad when #1 got together with Ran's friend(initially I wanted him and Ran to be together but #2 seems to like Ran a lot). I don't like how dense Ran is but She's really strong(physically and mentally). My favorite couple is Miyu and Yamato. My favorite chapter was chapter 1, That's when Ran's the coolest(she looks mature and someone to look up to). As the manga progresses, Ran seems to get younger(and more childish) and goofier looking(boyfriend's influence?). (This seems to happen a lot in older and longer manga's). I've read about 5 volumes and not sure if I'll finish. In manga's about girl power, I think that getting boyfriends ruins it for me(more so when they're not supportive or strong enough).
