Stick with the Humour or Deepen the Serious!

This is an anthology. The title story is fascinating--as a preliminary plan. It feels like the mangaka only gave her readers the notes she had of the general idea of the serious story she wanted to tell. And it could have been so very wonderful fleshed out--great potential for character growth and drama. Perhaps it'll inspire someone to take the themes further--it is still worth reading as a launch board of ideas.

Two of the other tales in this collection, however, were quite fulfilling: their aim was Humour and they delivered with silly, over-the-top romance and sweet moments of 'awww.'  Fun, light-hearted, sexy stuff.

The art is decently expressive, with several panels of wonderfully 'dark sexy' in the-alas-sprint dash of the serious story.

The Japanese to English translation is very awkward at times, but the scans are easy on the eyes.
