Description
Is it a pumpkin? An oddly-shaped couch cushion? No, it's a CAT! When 20-something animal lover, local beauty and airhead Satou Moe happens upon a spherical orange tabby cat in a back alley while stumbling home drunk after a party, she doesn't think twice about taking him in. "Poyo" neither looks nor acts like your average feline, but that doesn't stop Moe, her dad and their neighbors (not to mention said neighbors' pets) from loving and pampering him anyway.

This series does fast and short comedy right. It's the most fluent and interesting 4-koma I've read.
Though, in further consideration, the anime has a nicer introduction to the story, as for why Moe named her cat, Poyo. ((And Poyo doesn't speak in the 4koma *rage* He just has to go 'poyo~'... Yeah, I would recommend tasting the anime before diving into the series.

Argh I have no words for this manga other than IT'S FREAKING ADORABLE!!!!! ARGHHHH
Seriously, among other cats-related mangas this one is definitely my favourite. It's light-hearted and just pure fun to read. One might argue it's too simple, but why is that a fault? As long as you can enjoy reading it, what's the matter? From the impossibly cute cat to the hilarious situations surrounding him, everything is plain fun.
I knew about this manga through the anime, which is a plus because imagining (more like reliving) the sounds and voices going on WHILE reading the actual manga is so exciting. This is one heck of a series, solid from manga to anime. I just hope the manga get scanlated more quickly and the anime got more episodes produced. That would be sheer bliss for me.
