Stop comparing it to LC!
Seriously, how can can anyone expect a simple 3 volume series like Nanaco Robin to be on par with something as long as LC, where there was plenty of time and space for development? It's unreasonable and unfair to the author who's doing her best to produce a simple, refreshing read to feel good about. Has she achieved that? Yes indeed!
I love the characters. Nako is extremely strong and courageous, not to mention utterly hilarious with her antics. Although it backfires at times, she does her best to support the people she cares about. A very likable and fun heroine.
Then there's Konatsu, our hero who's so adorably Tsundere. Although he doesn't admit it, he truly cares for Nako and his friends. He's sincere and a good person. Very lovable and swoon-worthy.
Add in a vibrant supporting cast, crazy situations, a nice amount of character development and hilarious comedy and you have Nanaco Robin! A good story. Not as good as LC due to the few number of volumes but I believe it had the potential had it gone on longer. My few peeves with this is the ending and Konatsu. The ending was really rushed and kind of axed in my opinion. We needed more Nakonatsu lovey-doveyness and a few questions answered. Another thing which bothered me was the fact that Konatsu, never once called Nako by her name. I mean not even her last name! It was always "you"!
Other than that, it's a good refreshing read. Don't go into it expecting LC levels of awesome because it will disappoint you. It's a lovely, cute and delightful read otherwise. Well-done for a short manga.

aya nakahara <3
yup, i'll have to agree with everyone else who's saying that this manga shows potential/is already quite good/humorous/etc. with only two chapters out aya nakahara has an amazing sense of humor!
by the way, has anyone else noticed that they go to the same school as risa/otani/the lovecom cast? i noticed that their school uniforms were the same :3
yet another amazing work from Aya Nakahara
Nanaco Robin made me laugh so hard..the manga was a great read, very lighthearted. I have read it over 5 times now and it still makes me laugh each time. Aya Nakahara is an amazing Mangaka..this story is definitely recommended.
I have to say that I friggen love this main female!! Nako is awesome, probably one of my favourite female characters ever. The ending is rather blah and open ended but hey, it's a simple high school romance so it works.
I can't believe it's finished. Although of course the ending is quite nice and suitable. Very cute, actually. But part of me was hoping for more on their relationship... Anyway.. Worth reading, no question 'bout it! Funny, great characters (I personally think this couple is one of Nakahara's best), great build-up to the climax which will have you laughing and giggling and breathing in relief. I mean, that's what I did.

I sense... XD
I've only read the first chapter. But, based on what I read so far, I sense that this will be a long series! <3 The storyline is not so cliche...Hope that something interesting develops~! ;D
funniest first chapter ^ ^
hahahaha the first chapter is hilarious i love it =]. so far the story is pretty light and cute the art is also very neat.its an interesting read from page one so the first chapter is definately recommended ^ ^
It was funny. however the characters leave much to be desired. The elder brother doesn't have a backbone, nako pokes her nose into others' business to much, her sister is the typical goody two shoes. I could go on.. My favourite character would definitely be Buu-chan. loved her. Also i would have liked to know what happened to their debt.
So basically what i am saying is that this manga is suited for people who are looking for a light, funny read which doesn't have much in terms of plot or character development.
its definitely interesting. i usually don't like dumb types (unless its the result of some kind of illness) as hero/heroines and i still don't like this main heroine too but she kind of grows onto you. Story-wise , art-wise its satisfactory all around. When you have some time check this out i think it has the potential to be liked by most shoujo lovers. if i have to make a complaint it would be its too much predictable, after the first chapter i felt like i could already see the ending, still this manga left me with a good feeling when i'm done so i'm ok with the things as they are. its also good its not too long that would have killed the story and make it boring.
i was hard at work!
trying to find something a little different. i couldn't find a manga series to entertain me, but then.. i found this! it was peeerrrfffeeeccct. i loved it. especially the slow development. =) plus, it was mega funny. =)
