It was a fine manga until it became another propaganda manga for Japan, at the later chapters.

I love this

Space Brothers isn't just a space manga. It's a familiar drama that fills you with despair and sadness, but recompenses you with harm-hearts (if this expression exists) scenes. Actually, I see myself in Nanba Mutta, the protagonist of this story, a man who doesn't have confident in himself, that believe that everything in his life is because of his bad luck that came from birth. But over the course of the history, he gains more and more confident and will to reach his brothers and fulfill his second mother`s dream. And spoiler ahead, he got it.
In general, Space Brothers made me cry while i was reading this, but not a sad cry, but a very happy tears, because i saw all that characters that we learned to love and care to reaching their dreams, it`s a overwhelming feeling, like i was part of their inner circle of friendship.

I absolutely love this manga, and i wish so much for the new scans to reach out soon.

Some great moments

This manga is a bit uneven, it goes from interesting to touching to exciting to boring to cheesy and goes around those time and again.
A story about not giving up your dreams and keep the young kid in you alive after becoming an adult. A quite mature and realistic story in which it's best things are the chars and the eventual touching moment, but the mangaka abuses of those moments at times and contributes equal part of inmaturity to the formula, like in the romance or some events I won't spoil.
Overall a very good series for pretty much anyone except those who only read action series.

Feel so Moon

This is a Drama about two brothers and their dreams.
It's weird that all my favorite series are usually randomly picked or series I neglected a long time.
In this case, it was randomly picked, back in 2011 or early 2012?
I did not regret it.

Mostly Mutta Nanba's inner thoughts is amusing, relatable and realistic.
We all had this complexes and doubts but you may never know until you do it.
It's never too late they say. So go ahead.

Overall, gosh, I gave it a Perfect score. Yes it has flaws with sometimes the repeated use of flashbacks and connections but it works, It works for this masterpiece. Every time it updates, I still feel excited which is rare.
I have reread this manga a lot and it still has the same effect, the feeling of success (pooping lol.). I could just clap my hands for this series. Brilliant.

I did watched the anime, and gotta say, It's AWESOME. Soundtrack, animation, pacing....why is this not more popular than Shingeki no Kyojin ( I mentioned SnK since when SnK was airing Uchuu is still airing too). Bahh who cares anymore....

As Yotsuba said from Yotsubato!:
RECOMMENDABLE!

Freaking awesome

I pretty much decided to read this by default as almost of the projects by Extras were fantastic. Also it reminded me of ST&RS (bunch of unique tests to get a job). Only it turned out to be infinitely better. ST&RS is so juvenile whereas this series is mature with fantastic drama and comedy just as good.

Surprisingly Good

I first heard of this manga when the anime came out and I thought it would be another boring anime but after reading this I was wrong. The plot of course is different from any manga I read so it made me hesitant to read it but it's worth it. The manga can be cliche at times but what manga isn't like that now?

Anyways, the comedy is pretty good and I laughed at some of the jokes. I also like the reason why the two brothers wants to go to the moon
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Saw a UFO go to the moon when they were kids
.

Overall it's surprisingly good and I read all the current chapters(Ch.53) in one day. I recommend this manga to people that wants to read a manga about people wanting to follow their dreams with a touch of comedy.

Awesome series, needs scanlators

This one hit me by surprise. I've never heard about this till the anime came out, but oh boy, I am really hooked right now. The characters are fairly interesting, and even though this is a more "realistic" kind of story (or rather, because of that) it's quite easy to relate to them. I don't know much about space and astronauts, but this series has piqued my interest. I'd really wish there would be more groups scanlating this, or at least one, that can kick up the pace, and bring it up to date, seeing how it's already at 17 volumes.

A story of space

Not a lot has been done as far as translations go for this story, but based on the first chapter alone, I'm excited. It seems to be a tale of brotherly rivalry using a mission to the moon as a backdrop, and from there, possibly a mission to Mars. The main character, the older brother, is fairly sympathetic for individuals who also have a younger brother that overshadows them (for instance me), so he's relatable in that aspect. There isn't much more I can say given the lack of releases, but I highly encourage people to give it a try. Hopefully the scanlators will continue working on it since it seems it'd be a shame to watch it fade away.
